Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You have pledged yourself to the service of a sorcerer-king. In return, your master transformed you into an arcane spellcaster by means of eldritch rituals. What you do with this new power is up to you—the sorcerer-king has no special ability to observe you or to strip you of your power. However, all sorcerer-kings are suspicious and ruthless, so if you defy one, you do so at your own peril.

Expanded Spell List

The Sorcerer-King lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Sorcerer-King Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells

1st

Maximilian's earthen grasp, Tasha's mind whip

3rd

erupting earth, spirit guardians

4th

Ashen Scourge

At 1st level, you learn the thorn whip cantrip. It counts as a warlock cantrip for you, but it doesn’t count against your number of cantrips known.

In addition, whenever you cast thorn whip, it deals additional fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier.

Whenever the damage from thorn whip increases, you can target one additional creature with its attack. If you do, reduce the damage to each creature by 1d6 for each additional creature targeted.

Mantle of Might

Enemies within 5 feet of you have disadvantage on attacks made against you. This feature has no effect on creatures that are immune to fear.

King's Step

Starting at 6th level, you can take a form of sand and ash to escape from danger. When a creature  misses you with an attack, you can use your reaction to teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see, then cast hex on the creature that missed you without using an action or expending a spell slot.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Imperious Command

Starting at 10th level, whenever a creature within 5 feet of you starts its turn, you may move it up to 5 feet in any horizontal direction.

Cruel Bounty

Starting at 14th level, you can fix your gaze on an enemy and execute judgment. One creature you can see takes 5d8 damage and is restrained. At the end of its turn, it may make a Charisma saving throw to end the restrained condition. In addition, the next time an ally damages the creature, that ally may heal 6d8 hit points.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short rest or a long rest.
