Base Class: Sorcerer
Your power as a mild magic sorcerer allows you to command the powers of magic to perform overly simplistic bouts of magical spectacle sure to impress the small crowds of a tavern. You derive power from a mundane entity or prophecy foretelling the story of a relatively interesting hero.
Mild Magic Surge
Immediately after casting a spell of 1st level or higher roll a d12 on the mild magic surge table. That effect takes place immediately and that particular surge cannot be triggered again until you finish your next turn.
Mild Magic Surge:
1: The next spell you cast is cast at the highest possible casting available to you while still expending the lowest possible spell slot for the spell.
2: A moderately tall goblin apparates next to you no more than 5 feet away. If the goblin appears in the same space as another creature they both take 4d4 force damage and are pushed 5 feet from each other. The goblin is neither allied nor hostile towards the caster and disappears after your next surge.
3: You immediately cast a random cantrip from your known cantrip list determined by the dm. If the cantrip deals damage the creature targeted is considered resistant to the damage.
4: On your next turn you must immediately take the dodge action. if you successfully dodge an attack you gain a +1 bonus to your next saving throw.
5: When you next cast a spell that deals damage the creature that would take the damage cannot benefit from resistance to that damage type or be vulnerable to the damage.
6: You spit up a random item from the Robe of useful things determined by the dm. This item disappears at the end of your next turn.
7: You gain 1 sorcery point.
8: You gain advantage on the next unarmed strike you make. If the attack hits the damage equals your strength modifier plus your spellcasting ability modifier .
9: 1d4 teeth fall out of your mouth. The teeth act as if the "Magic stone" spell was cast on them.
10: A random NPC you are aware of instantaneously teleports to within 5 feet of you.
11: Until the end of your next turn, you must speak entirely in rhyme to cast a spell.
12: Roll on the Wild magic surge table, and then roll again on this table.
