Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Regardless of the story behind the curse or condition, few abominations are willing to show the other form they can manifest. Regardless of the race they were originally, the brand or curse they obtained causes them to lose their original form and become hideous beasts. Very few people would be tolerant of such a thing, and as such most abominations tend to hide their true nature and keep moving, so as to avoid people learning what they truly are. In battle, they are strong fighters who can take multiple blows for their allies, but should the stress become too much or the pain too staggering, they may have to show their secrets to survive.

Beastial Form

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, you can choose to transform, revealing the bestial power within you. You gain a number of new benefits in this form.

Claws: Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 slashing damage and you are considered proficient with them.

Size: Your size is considered large and you can lift and move objects that are up to 1000lbs in weight. any being smaller than you has disadvantage when trying to grapple you.

Manifestations

At 3rd level, you can learn to alter your form, the way you fight or various other effects in situations. You learn various manifestations, these are fueled by special dice called manifestation dice.

Manifestations. You learn three manifestations of your choice (which are listed at the bottom of the subclass page). Many manifestations enhance an attack in some way. You can use only one manifestation per turn. You learn 2 additional manifestations of your choice at the 6th, 10th, and 14th levels. Each time you level up, you can replace your manifestations with different ones.

Manifestation Dice. While you are raging each time you are hit you gain a manifestation dice, which are d8's, you can only gain a maximum of 1 manifestation dice per each of your turns. A manifestation die is expended when you use it. You can hold a total number of manifestation dice equal to double your proficiency bonus. Your total number of manifestation dice that you have accumulated, resets when your rage ends.

Saving Throws. Some of your manifestations require your target to make a saving throw to resist effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:

Manifestation save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice)

Bestial Soul

Beginning at 6th level, the feral power within you increases, causing the natural weapons of your Form of the Beast to count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

At this point, You have honed your transformative ability so much that you can transform without raging. but you do not gain your manifestations or any of the benefits of transforming that you normally would get apart from the size growth, for this version of your transformation is not made for battle but is made to help you adapt to your surroundings. You gain 1 manifestation dice and this transformation will end after 1 hour or until you end it yourself and can be done once a day:

  • You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and you can breathe underwater.
  • You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, and you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
  • When you jump, you can make a Strength (Athletics) check and extend your jump by a number of feet equal to the check’s total. You can make this special check only once per turn.

Improved Manifestations

At 10th level, your Manifestation dice turn into d10s. At 18th level, they turn into d12s.

Rememberance

Starting at 14th level, when your rage ends you keep half of your accumulated manifestation points for the next fight. If you roll initiative with no manifestation dice, you regain 1 die.
