Base Class: Paladin
Powerful dragons can offer guidance, protection, and power to those who earn their attention. You make your oath with a good-aligned powerful dragon or dragon deity - in particular, Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, god of Metallic Dragons.
Bahamut's frequent intervention on the Material plane means some of this oath are hand-picked by the god himself. These Paladins are sometimes known as Dragon Knights, Platinum Knights, or Platinum Guardians.
Tenets of the Dragon
Bahamut grants power only to those who choose to use their power in alignment with his values.
Freedom. Dragons are free - slave to no one, and nothing. Preserve freedom for yourself and others whenever possible, remembering always that the deeds of one should not hamper the freedoms of another.
Justice. Dragons have the courage and power to face any and all obstacles. But might does not make “right”, and all sentients have rights. What good is all your power if is serves no good purpose?
Generosity. A dragon is only as powerful as its hoard, and it is better to have than have-not. But it is best to be generous, with others and yourself. The greater your hoard, the greater your generosity can be!
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Draconic Weapon. As an action, use your Channel Divinity to imbue a weapon you are currently wielding with either fire or radiant energy. For 1 minute, add 1d6 to damage rolls made with that weapon. The weapon also emits bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light 15 feet beyond that. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
Frightening Presence. As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to exude a terrifying presence. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw if it can see you. On a failed save, the target is frightened until the end of your next turn. If a creature frightened by this effect ends its turn more than 30 feet away from you, it can attempt another Wisdom saving throw to end the effect on it.

Draconic Familiarity
When you take this Oath, you unlock a better understanding of dragons. You can read and speak draconic, and have advantage on History and Arcana checks concerning dragons.
Additionally, any creature with a breath weapon can choose radiant damage for their breath weapon damage type prior to rolling damage.
Aura of Shelter
Beginning at 7th level, Bahamut's power shields you from elemental harm. When you complete a long or short rest, choose a damage type from the following: fire, cold, lightening, acid, or poison. While you are conscious, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have resistance to the chosen damage type. A creature can benefit from this feature from only one paladin at a time.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Draconic Influence
At 15th level, when you fail a saving throw, you can instead choose to succeed using your reaction. After using this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
You also add 60 feet to the range of your Darkvision (even if it's normally 0).
Platinum Avatar
At 20th level, you gain the ability to harness extraordinary draconic power. As an action, you can magically become an avatar of Bahamut, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You have resistance to all damage.
- When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as part of that action.
- Dragon Wings sprout from your back and grant you a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
