Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You have the ability to detect and push metals. the push is based on weight, If the metal is lighter than you it gets pushed but if the metal is heavier than you (or secured on something heavier than you such as nails in walls or coins on the ground) you are pushed backwards.

you need to ingest small amounts of steel daily (usually flakes dissolved in liquids) to use all of the abilities related to this subclass.

Coinshot Senses

When you choose this class at third level you gain the ability to activate your magical senses, you may do this at will without using an action. When you do blue lines emanate from your chest and connect to the center of pieces of metal within 30 feet, they are invisible to everyone except you and creatures with truesight. These lines can penetrate most barriers, but are blocked by 1 foot of stone, or 3 feet of wood or dirt. the heavier the object the thicker the line.

Steelpushing

Starting at third level you have the ability to push metal directly away from you. If the object isn't being worn or carried and weighs less than your weight, you may push it directly away from you. If the metal pierces the body of a living creature you are unable to push it. Objects that are embeded into another object such as nails or strapped onto another object such as armor or a pack are considered secured

In combat this gives you a natural ranged weapon with which you are proficient, it has the ammunition and two handed properties with a range equal to your proficiency bonus times 10 ft. and a long range of 120 ft. it deals 2 piercing damage on a hit, don't add your ability score modifiers to the damage. Pieces of metal thrown this way count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. use coins, nails, or other small pieces of metal as ammunition

You can use the Attack action to make a special melee attack, a push. In one attack action you get a number of pushes equal to your proficiency bonus. When you push choose one of the following options:

  • Make a ranged weapon attack against a creature with your natural weapon, on a miss the piece of metal falls to the ground in the same space as the target.
  • Push a piece of metal that you are holding or that is unsecured up to 30 feet, if it hits a soft surface such as dirt or wood it embeds itself and is secured into that surface.

If you target the same creature with multiple pieces in the same attack action only roll one die for all of the attack rolls.

Coinshot Mobility

Starting at third level you can push on metal heavier than you or metal secured in something heavier than you within 30ft to launch yourself directly away from it. once per turn you may push yourself up to a number of feet equal to ten times half your proficiency bonus without using an action. So if your proficiency bonus is 3 you can launch yourself up to 15 ft and if its 6 you can launch yourself up to 30 ft.

If there is metal heavier than you or metal secured in something heavier than you directly below you, you may use your bonus action to take no fall damage.

Steelsight

Starting at 9th level you are highly adept with your coinshot senses and can see the lines even if you can't see otherwise. You can see the trace metal in everything around you, while you have the blinded condition you also have blindsight with a range of 30 ft. while using this blindsight the world appears as different shapes and shades of blue. You may close your eyes to blind yourself or open your eyes to restore your sight without using an action.

Due to your familularity with your coinshot senses you can judge the exact weight of a metal object within 30 ft based on the width of the line.

Shove

Starting at 13th level you can push on metal that is being worn or carried. As a bonus action, you can try to shove metal you can see within 30 feet of you. When you do so, the creature holding or wearing the metal must make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your constitution modifier), a creature can willingly fail this save. On a failure, If the metal is secured to a creature, that creature is pushed 10 feet directly away from you; if the metal isn't secured to a creature, the creature drops the object and the object is pushed up to 30 feet directly away from you.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution modifier. When you finish a long rest, you regain all expended uses.

Steel Bubble

starting at seventeenth level you are able to form a steel bubble around yourself, pushing a little bit in every direction to alter the course of projectiles and slow melee attacks. As long as you aren't surprised or incapacitated, increase your AC by 2 against weapon attacks by a weapon with metal.
