Order of Lightweavers

Lightweavers can be introspective, outgoing, or anything in between, but they are generally free-spirited. They had a keen appreciation for the value of beauty and entertainment and felt that it was not enough if Roshar made it through the Desolations but lost such things. As such, most have a penchant for the arts. Perhaps as an outgrowth of that belief, the Lightweavers seem to have taken some responsibility for maintaining morale among the Knights Radiant.

However, some of them were interested in intrigue and secrets and often served as the spies of the Knights Radiant. While their personal values were strong, they often had looser morals than the other orders.

The Lightweavers form Nahel bonds with Cryptics, and use the Surges of Illumination and Transformation.

Inspire Creation

3rd-level Order of Lightweavers feature

Whenever you give a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, you can hum to the Tones of Roshar to create a Tiny creationspren, which orbits within 5 feet of that creature. The spren is intangible and invulnerable, and it lasts until the Bardic Inspiration die is lost. The spren looks like a random nearby object, constantly shifting in orientation.

When the creature uses the Bardic Inspiration die, the creationspren provides an additional effect based on whether the die benefits an ability check, an attack roll, or a saving throw, as detailed below:

Ability Check. When the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die to add it to an ability check, the creature can roll the Bardic Inspiration die again and choose which roll to use, as the creationspren pops and emits colorful, harmless sparks for a moment.

Attack Roll. Immediately after the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die to add it to an attack roll against a target, the creationspren thunderously shatters. The target and each creature of your choice that you can see within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take thunder damage equal to the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die.

Saving Throw. Immediately after the creature rolls the Bardic Inspiration die and adds it to a saving throw, the creationspren vanishes with the sound of soft music, causing the creature to gain temporary hit points equal to the number rolled on the Bardic Inspiration die plus your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 temporary hit point).

Surge of Illumination

3rd-level Order of Lightweavers feature

Your Nahel bond grants you control over the Surge of Illumination. You begin to learn how to weave stormlight into limited illusions.

You can now cast disguise self at will, without expending a spell slot.

Mantle of Phantoms

6th-level Order of Lightweavers feature

As you continue to grow, you admit a hidden truth about yourself as your Second Ideal. Thus your Nahel bond grows stronger, as does your control over the two Surges. Your illusions begin to become more substantial, able to affect the world around you to a certain extent.

As a bonus action, you can cast phantasmal force, targeting a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1), without expending a spell slot.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Knight Radiant

14th-level Order of Lightweavers feature

When you speak your truths as the Third Ideal, your Nahel bond grows yet again, and you may now summon a Shardplate.

As a bonus action, you may summon your Shardplate in a burst of swirling creationspren for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. Your appearance gains an otherworldly aspect, and your armor grants a majestic presence. For the duration, whenever any creature tries to attack you for the first time on a turn, the attacker must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, it can't attack you on this turn, and it must choose a new target for its attack or the attack is wasted. On a successful save, it can attack you on this turn, but it has disadvantage on any saving throw it makes against your spells on your next turn.

Once you've summoned your Shardplate, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
