Base Class: Sorcerer

You have been touched by the cycle of life and death, its immense power granting you innate ability to cast spells.

Death Spells

Starting at 1st level in this subclass, and when you reach specific levels in this subclass, additional spells are added to your known spell list, as listed below in the Death Spell List. These spells count as sorcerer spells to you, and they do not count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. In addition, whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one of the spells you gained from this feature with any necromancy spell or spell that can heal hit points. The spell you gained must be the same level as the spell you replaced this way.

Death Spell List:
1st level - Inflict Wound, False Life
3rd level - Aid, Ray of Enfeeblement
5th level -  Speak with Dead, Vampiric Touch
7th level - Death Ward, Phantasmal Killer
9th level - Contagion, Mass Cure Wounds

Dampen Healing

Starting at 1st level in this subclass, whenever a creature that you can see within 60ft of you regain hit point, you can half their hit point gained (to a minimum of 1) by spending 1 sorcery point with your reaction. In addition, you can also force that creature to make a constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they are incapacitated until the start of your next turn.

Moreover, you gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.

Touch of Death

Starting at 6th level in this subclass, your spells which deal damage and has a range of touch can deal necrotic damage instead of their normal damage type. In addition, you can spend 2 sorcery point to cast them as bonus action, and they required no verbal, somatic or material component if you cast them this way.

Scythe of Death

Starting at 14th level in this subclass, necrotic damage you dealt ignores resistance to necrotic damage.

In addition, as a bonus action you can spend 3 sorcery points to have your necrotic damage to ignores immunity to necrotic damage. This effect lasts for 1 minute, and you can only use this effect once per long rest.

Energy Reversal

Starting at 18th level in this subclass, whenever you cast a spell which deal necrotic damage and is of 5th level or lower, you can spend 3 sorcery points to have the spell to instead heal its targets with hit points equal to the amount of necrotic damage it would dealt.

In addition, whenever you cast a spell which heal hit points and is of 5th level or lower, you can spend 3 sorcery points to have the spell to instead deal necrotic damage to its targets equal to the amount of hit points it would heal.
