Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Slayers are those Fighters who focus entirely on heavy weaponry and overwhelming force on the battlefield.

Aspects of War

Starting at 3rd level, you can gain Defiance and Ruin Charges, which are each considered to be an Aspect Charge.

Whenever you are dealt damage, gain a Defiance Charge. For each Defiance Charge you have active, take 1 less damage from all sources. This cannot reduce damage taken below 1 damage.
Whenever you deal damage, gain a Ruin Charge. For each Ruin Charge, deal 1 additional damage on the first attack of your turn.

You can have a combined total of Aspect Charges equal to your Strength modifier. You may replace an Aspect Charge when you would gain another.

You lose all Aspect Charges if you fall unconscious, combat has ended, or you do so as a free action.

Form of The Executioner

Starting at 7th Level, you refine a form of combat with two-handed weapons.

Brutal Form

You've embraced the limits of heavy weaponry. You can wield any melee weapon with the Two-Handed property (that does not have the Reach property) as if it did not have that property. While using a weapon in this way, your attacks with that weapon are made at disadvantage. A weapon used in this way still counts as Two-Handed for all other purposes.

Masterful Form

You have an innate mastery of the single blade. Add additional damage to any dealt with a Two-Handed weapon equal to half your Strength Modifier.

Bringer of Carnage

Starting at 10th level, you may use the Cleave or Sweep actions in combat a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest.

Cleave
Whenever you would make an Attack, you can instead choose to Cleave. Deal an additional 1d4 damage on a successful hit. The opponent rolls a Constitution Saving Throw. On a failure, you may choose to knock the opponent prone.

Sweep
Whenever you would make an Attack, you can instead choose to Sweep. Make a single attack roll as normal and count it against all enemies in a 5ft square around you. On any hit, deal damage except do not apply your Strength bonus.

Savage Hunger

Starting at 15th level, whenever you hit a creature with a Two-Handed Weapon for the first time on your turn or additionally as a reaction, gain 1d10 Temporary Hit Points. If this attack is a Critical Hit, you gain 2d10 Temporary Hit Points instead.

Pendulum of Destruction

Your lust for destruction cannot be denied.

Starting at 18th Level, if an opponent you hit is at or below an amount of hit points equal to your level after being damaged by you using a Two-Handed Weapon, deal damage equal to your level to the target of the same type as the damage that triggered this effect. A creature with Legendary Actions takes half as much damage before calculating Resistance. You always deal at least 1 damage with this ability.

If you bring a creature to 0 hit points with a Two-Handed Weapon, gain Advantage on all attacks until your next turn.
