Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Hellbound Barbarians are power craving savages that harness the power of devils to cause as much damage as possible, even if it means hurting themselves in the process.

Its unclear where these hellions originated from, but what is clear is that they leave behind carnage and the smell of blood and burnt flesh in their wake.

Fury from Hell

When you take this subclass, you imitate aspects of hell itself during your rage. Unleashing the might of devils on your foes.

At 3rd Level and you take this subclass once per turn whenever you make a melee weapon attack against someone and hit, you can maximize any damage dice when determining damage. You can choose when you wish to use this feature as a free action.

Though this power came at a cost. If you succeed in the attack you would take damage based on your Barbarian Level and half of the damage you dealt from the attack.

However if you slay a foe with this feature, you don't lose health instead you gain back health you would have lost from using the maximised damage.

Devil's Advocate

When ever you use your Reckless Attack, you tempt your enemies to take the bait and punish them for their greed.

At 6th level whenever an enemy uses the advantage from your Reckless attack, they automatically Maximize the damage they deal to you but take Fire Damage equal to the damage they dealt to you.

You can only use this while raging.

Infernal Overdrive

You sacrifice life energy to make your demonic strikes pack a punch.

At 10th level as a bonus action once per turn, you can take damage equal to 10 plus your Barbarian Levels to add Fire Damage equal to the amount expanded to your weapon attacks till the end of your turn.

Rebirth through Hell

Even in death, you refuse to go out without a fight.

At 14th level whenever you go below 0 HP and die, you let out an explosion dealing Fire damage equal to your Barbarian level and roll that many d6s. Afterwards you return with temporary HP equal to the damage you dealt with your explosion. This does not mean the total amount of damage you dealt in total, only what you rolled for the explosion (without calculating resistance or immunities). You can not regain any of the temporary HP in any way.

When you lose all of your temporary HP, you revert back to 0 HP and are unconscious.
