Amongst those who study the school of evocation many find a deeper interest in the study of magic fire. These specialist are known as Pyromancers and are often the victims of a bad reputation due to the power of the flames they wield.

Spark of Inspuration

Starting at 2nd level, you become resistant to fire damage and your spellbook cannot be damaged by fire. Twice per long rest you may grant yourself, or an ally, a bonus 1d4 to initiative rolls, which increases to 1d6 at 10th level.

Shield of Fire

Starting at 2nd level, once per short rest, as a reaction when attacked, you can shield yourself from an incoming attack with a dome of flames. You must do so before the damage is announced and doing so adds your Intelligence modifier to your AC until the beginning of your next turn.

Playing with Fire

At 6th level, when casting a spell that deals fire damage you can manipulate the weave in such a way that the flames come from a Wyldfyre source. At 14th level you can also change the source to be a Hellfire source.

Lust to Burn

When casting a spell that deals fire damage you can expend a first level spell slot as a bonus action to create an area of burning flames on the battlefield. The area is a 20ft radius sphere on the ground that is centered in the same location as the spell that was cast, either on the target or the center of an AoE spell, that deals 1d6 fire damage to all creatures that start their turn in the area or enter it for the first time.

Master of the Flames

At 14th level, your fire resistance now becomes immunity to fire damage. As a bonus actions, once per long rest, you may grant another creature immunity to fire damage for one minute by touching them.
