Base Class: Monk
Blood is a powerful medium. It flows through the body, carrying the very essence of life, with the ability to empower or cripple others when one manipulates or augments it. Secluded in abandoned, desecrated monasteries, there exist vampiric texts with instructions of a forbidden and dark combat practice created by the undead monsters: The Way of the Sanguine Feast.
Bonus Proficiencies
Siphon Vitality
Additionally at 3rd level when you select this tradition, you begin tapping into the vampiric nature of your fighting style to drain life energy via direct contact with your victims. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, the Unarmed Strikes you make deal necrotic damage instead of the standard bludgeoning. Additionally, you recover half of the damage dealt by your Flurry of Blows as hit points.
Red Rum
Sanguine Survival
When you reach 11th level, you are able to control your blood in order to stave off the grip of death. If you are reduced to zero hit points you can spend two Ki points as a reaction to stabilize yourself. Alternatively, you can spend four Ki points as a reaction to make an unarmed strike that deals necrotic damage against a creature within 5 feet of you, regaining hit points equal to the damage dealt to the target.
Feast of Fear
At 17th level, your mastery over blood has reached its peak, and creatures have begun to fear you by instinct. While conscious, you exude a 30-foot aura of malice and shadow that crawls across the ground around you. You can suppress the aura or activate it with a bonus action. Creatures within the aura at the start of your turn must make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki DC, taking 1d10 necrotic damage and becoming frightened of you on a failure. If they succeed, they only take half damage and are not feared. You regain hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier for each creature that fails the save. While feared in this way, you gain advantage on attacks against the affected creatures. The fear ends if the affected creature leaves your aura, or if you are killed or incapacitated.
