Base Class: Artificer
The nation of Sharlayan is the cradle of knowledge, and the Studium its foremost institution of learning. Yet more so than its incomparable library and formidable assemblage of Archons, this prestigious academy is famed for blending traditionally distinct fields to produce revolutionary new disciplines. Among these, perhaps the most distinguished is an altruistic art which draws upon the wisdom of aetherology, sorcery, and medicine. Dubbed somanoutics, the art seeks to heal and protect by manipulating corporeal aether through the use of nouliths, a flying array of foci. Practitioners are dedicated to the betterment of mankind, and for their wisdom and compassion, eventually came to be known simply as sages.
When creating your sage, consider where you studied your craft within your world. Each universe has differing styles and levels of technology, so the methods of crafting your nouliths and their aesthetics may wildly vary from the source material. A sage in Eberron's spells and nouliths may be more cybernetically advanced in their appearance and flavor, while a sage in a low-tech setting might create their weapons out of wood carved from a magical tree.

Nouliths
3rd-level Sage feature
You have learned to create floating weapons known as nouliths that aid you in supporting your allies. Using tinkerer's tools, you may spend 8 hours to create a set of four nouliths that can be stored like a normal weapon.
When wielded, the nouliths will float around you, controlled by your magic and will. The nouliths do not require your hands to wield. They are considered magical weapons that deal 1d8 force damage and have a range of 20/60 feet. When you attack with your nouliths you can add your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, to the attack and damage rolls.
You may use the nouliths as a spellcasting focus.
Kardia
3rd-level Sage feature
As a bonus action you may align your magical matrix around an allied creature. At the end of a turn in which you attacked with your nouliths, you may apply temporary hitpoints to your ally equal to half the total damage dealt by your nouliths this round. This temporary HP disappears if it still exists at the beginning of your next turn.
Extra Attack
5th-level Sage feature
You can attack twice, rather than once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Eukrasia
9th-level Sage feature
When you cast a spell that applies healing, you may expend your reaction and half the amount to be healed to have the target receive temporary HP equal to the sacrificed amount of the healing.
Haima
15th-level Sage feature
As an action you may erect a magical barrier around yourself or a targeted party member for the next minute, granting them temporary HP equal to double your Intelligence modifier and five stacks of Haimatinon. After the target's temporary HP is completely depleted, if there are any remaining charges of Haimatinon, they consume one charge of Haimatinon and reapply the temporary HP.
This feature may only be active on one target at a time, and can be used a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
