Base Class: Monk
They batter their opponents through a combination of technique, quickness, and power that few can match. Whether in organized tournaments or street fights, those who follow the Way of the Closed Fist are extremely capable combatants.
Haymaker
At 3rd level, you end your combos with a powerful strike. Any hit you score with the final attack of your Flurry of Blows is a critical hit.
Steel Chin
Also at 3rd level, your defenses are incredibly hard to break through. You're resistant to non-magical unarmed strikes.
Trained Combatant
At 6th level, you are able to notice and predict a creature's fighting tendencies. If you fight a creature or watch a creature fight for at least 1 minute, your melee attacks against that creature have advantage and that creature's attacks against you have disadvantage. This effect lasts for 7 days.
Fake Out
Beginning at 11th level, when you are hit with a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to try to juke the attacker out, potentially causing the attack to miss. When you do so, make a Deception (Dexterity) check contested by the attacker's Sleight of Hand (Dexterity), or insight (Wisdom) check (their choice). If you win, you are able to sidestep the attack, causing it to miss.
Vicious Combination
When you reach 17th level, you can throw a barrage of punches in quick succession. You can make a third attack with your Flurry of Blows.
