Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

This oath is a sacred bond between you and an Animal Spirit. This Spirit gives you the ability to transform into a bestial form starting at third level to give you the necessary strength and power to defend the land.

The tenets of the Oath of the Moon have been preserved for uncounted centuries. This oath emphasizes the protection of the land above any concerns of law or order. Its four central principles are simple.

Embrace the Change. The natural way of the world is change. Feel and accept the changes around you just as the seasons always change.

Find the Harmony. Finding balance is something I must and must show others how to do.

Relish in Life. Nothing lasts forever so I must cherish those around me, until the last second. Every life on this plane is important, from the mightiest king to the smallest of insects and I must preserve them all.

Stand Firm. Like the mighty mountains of the land, stand firm against adversity and be the pillar others can lean on.

Primal Transformation

Upon choosing this Oath at 3rd level, you have completed the training required to control your Primal Form. As a bonus action, you can transform into your hybrid form for up to 1 hour. You can speak, use equipment, and wear armor in this form. You can revert to your normal form earlier as a bonus action. You automatically revert to your normal form if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die. This feature replaces the rules for Lycanthropy within the Monster’s Manual.

Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Primal Might

You gain a +1 to melee damage rolls. This bonus increases by 1 at 11th and 18th level. You also have advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throw

Resilient Hide

Resilient Hide. You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks not made with silver weapons. While you are not wearing heavy armor, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Nature’s Wrath. You can use your Channel Divinity to invoke primeval forces to ensnare a foe. As an action, you can cause spectral vines to spring up and reach for a creature within 10 feet of you that you can see. The creature must succeed on a Strength or Dexterity saving throw (its choice) or be restrained. While restrained by the vines, the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself and the vines vanish.

Primal Aura. You can use your Channel Divinity to utter ancient words and produce a frightening aura. As an action, you present your holy symbol, and three enemies within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is frightened for 1 minute or until it takes damage

A frightened creature has disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight The creature can’t willingly move closer to the source of its fear.

If the creature’s true form is concealed by an illusion, shapeshifting, or other effect, that form is revealed while it is frightened.
