Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards from the College of Culinary are master chefs and brewers who mix culture with cooking, creating new recipes that please even the pickiest creatures. These bards know their way around a cooking fire and charm those around them with their exquisite meals. Culinary bards have a taste for adventure. They explore the world to discover new foods from different societies to expand their pallets.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Culinary at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Cook's Utensils and Brewer's Supplies.

Fine Dining

Whenever you are creating a meal or brew with three or more different ingredients you may add a bonus to Ability Checks, provided you have ingredients and Cook's Utensils or Brewer's Supplies on hand. The meal or brew takes 15 minutes per ingredient but the effect lasts until a short rest. The ability check is based on the ingredients and their location on the Food Groups Table.

The maximum amount of a given bonus is your bard level: If a meal were made of seven pieces of meat and three vegetables which would give +7 to Strength Checks and +3 Intelligence Checks, but your bard level is 4, the meal would only give a +4 to Strength checks and +3 Intelligence Checks. The bonus after it was consumed will only last until a short rest, it does not stack with other meals or brew. If another meal is consumed before the short rest override the bonuses given. The meal will last 48 hours after being made.

You can prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to your bard level multiplied by two.
