Base Class: Sorcerer
People who are born of this subclass are able to generate unique particles from their bodies and control them at will. What the particles that you control are is completely up to you. They could be the sands of the desert from your birthplace, or they could be the blood from your body.
Shred Control
As a bonus action on your turn, you enter a state of control for 10 minutes. You create a particulate swarm which naturally swirls around you. While the swarm swirls around you, you gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws that use Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. As an action on your turn, you can move the swarm off of you and can cause one of the following effects to happen:
Particulate Barrier. You compact your particles into a wall. You create a barrier within 30 feet of you that is up to 1 inch thick and has dimensions of up to 10 feet by 10 feet, and you cannot create the barrier in a space occupied by another creature. The barrier has an AC equal to 10 + your Charisma modifier and hit points equal to 5 times your sorcerer level. Reducing the barrier’s hit points to 0 destroys the barrier and the swarm returns to you. The barrier remains there until you drop the barrier as a bonus action (causing the swarm to return to you), or if you use your action to move your particles again.
Particulate Slash. You compact your particles into a powerful blast. All creatures within 5 feet of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take force damage equal to a number of d4s equal to your proficiency bonus. After you use your action this way, your swarm returns to you at the start of your next turn.
You can use this ability a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Fragmentation Magic
You learn the spell Sleet Storm, which doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it by spending 3 sorcery points or by expending a spell slot.
When you reach 8th level in this class you learn the spell Fabricate, which doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it by spending 5 sorcery points or by expending a spell slot.
When you reach 10th level in this class you learn the spell Antilife Shell, which doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it by spending 6 sorcery points or by expending a spell slot.
Molecular Form
Whilst your particle swarm swirls around you, you have advantage on Dexterity saving throws. In addition, you gain a flying speed and a burrowing speed equal to your walking speed while your swarm swirls around you.
Shrapnel Apex
When your particle swarm swirls around you, you gain a +3 bonus to AC and saving throws. Your Particulate Barrier can be up to 12 inches thick, has the dimensions of up to 30 feet by 30 feet, and it has an AC of 15 + your Charisma modifier. Your Particulate Slash area increases to 30 feet and can only affect creatures of your choice. Its damage increases into a number of d10s equal to your proficiency bonus worth of force damage.
