Monk
Base Class: Monk

Not all Monks focus on evasion; not all monks focus on agility, not all monks use precision. The Way of the Mithril skin began as an offshoot of the Dwarven Battlerager traditions and was quickly picked up by those who wished to harden their body while maintaining their sanity. Knowledge of this tradition was passed by the forge gods (as appropriate in your world) on to other interested parties; many adherents outside of the Dwarven peoples are followers of theirs, though War gods hold their own contingents as well.

Iron Hide

By 3rd level, you’ve endured harsh training designed to inure you to pain. You can now use the following formula to determine your base armor class while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield: 10 + your Constitution modifier + your Wisdom modifier.

Knife-hand strikes

Also at 3rd level, your unarmed strikes made with Strength benefit from the repetitive and brutal training of your body. Your unarmed strikes made with Strength now deal 1d6 damage.

This damage increases as you gain monk levels, increasing to 1d8 at level 5, 1d10 at level 11 and 1d12 at level 17.

Solid Stance

Starting at 6 level, your combat stance has solidified to a point where you are rooted to the ground. If you do not move on your turn, you are touching the ground and are not incapacitated, you have advantage on ability checks and saving throws to resist being pushed or knocked prone until the beginning of your next turn.  Additionally during this time, when you take the dodge action or are holding an Attack action, you have resistance to all damage except psychic damage.

Reflection Technique

Starting at 11th level, your ability to absorb damage begins to include redirecting it. Any damage that was resisted using your Solid Stance class feature is added to your Stored Damage Pool. Damage resisted for other reasons is not added. If you successfully hit a creature with a held Attack action or take the Attack action on your subsequent turn and hit a creature, all of your Stored Damage Pool is added to the damage of the attack; with the damage type being that of the weapon you attack with or your unarmed strike instead of the original type(s). The value of the Stored Damage Pool is then reduced to 0.

Mithril Skin

At 17 level you have reached the pinnacle of your technique and are now capable of capturing energy when you are not harmed. Any damage mitigated by your Evasion class feature is now also added to your Stored Damage Pool.

Additionally, when using your Solid Stance technique, you are now immune to all non-magical bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage, though you still accumulate half of the damage you would otherwise have taken in your Stored Damage pool.
