Base Class: Paladin
Long ago, a slave escaped a caravan, and wandering the desert, found the Tear of Lathander buried in the sands. With the spark of the divine, she built a great oasis city, Martinet Hurr, a haven for all with very few laws. One law which is enforced absolutely forbids slavery of any kind. The punishment for engaging in slave trade is public immolation beneath the Tear.
The Paladins who take this Oath respect the autonomy of each individual to choose their life's path for themselves, whether for weal or for woe. They leave their old codes of morality behind when the swear to uphold the Oath of the Chainbreaker.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Track & Field. You can use your Channel Divinity to augment your body and mind with divine power. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Wisdom (Survival) and Strength (Athletics) checks for the next 10 minutes.
Turn the Elements. As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer censuring elementals and fiends, using your Channel Divinity. Each elemental or fiend that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage.
A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Posted Jul 19, 2018It's both part of the setting of the homebrew campaign, as well as a different flavoring. Major categories for extraplanar abjuration turning tend to be aberrations, celestials, elementals, fey, fiends, and undead. We see this being played with a little bit already in the Paladin subclasses. While Oath of Devotion paladins turn fiends and undead, Oath of the Ancients turns fey and undead. This reads to me as a bit of latitude to just pick 2.
Given the heat and freedom aspects of the class build, elementals and fiends seemed more appropriate than including undead.
