Base Class: Monk
Meditation is the key to unlocking one's true potential on the path towards enlightenment. As one’s consciousness dive deep down into the darkness of oneself, some discover the power of the world of dreams. Those who follow the Way of Trance are never truly awake or asleep, constantly walking along the razor's edge that separates the two “worlds”. They give relief to the weary and terror to those they see fit.
Knockout Punch
When you choose this subclass you may learn to harm the body and the mind. As a Bonus Action you may spend 1 Ki to mark a creature's subconscious, drawing out their fears or desires, your choice, to distract them. For 1 minute you have advantage on all attacks against the marked creature.
When you make an unarmed strike you may choose to change the damage into psychic damage.
Sleeping Sentinel
Whenever you take a short or long rest you enter a meditative state that connects you to the dream realm. Every Time you take a rest you may gain temporary hit points equal to twice your character level.
Daydreamer
At 11th Level you learn to reach deep into the desires and fears of those around you. By spending 3 Ki as an Action you can cause every creature within 15 ft. of you to make a Wisdom saving throw equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier or be charmed or feared of you for 1 minute. They may reroll their saving throw at the end of their turn or when they are damaged.
Living The Dream
If you dropped down to 0 hit points, your drifting consciousness summons a rift to The Dream. With no Action required you may spend 1 to 10 Ki, a creature of your choice within 30ft will take 2d12 Psychic damage for every Ki spent ignoring resistance and immunity. You may regain a number of hit points equal to twice the Ki spent, after you use this feature you must finish a long rest before being able to use it again.
