Monk
Base Class: Monk

Whether you've received the blessing of some umbral being, trained for years in the art of subtle infiltration and subterfuge, or possess innate dark talent, you are adept at manipulating the shadow around you. You are at home in the darkness, and can slip in or out of trouble with ease.

Shadow Arts

You can cast the spells Darkness and Pass Without Trace at second level, requiring no material components. Once you cast a spell in this way, you must finish a long rest in order to cast a spell in this way again.

Umbral Gaze

You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision, it's range increases by 30 feet. While in total darkness, you have blindsight out to a range of 10 feet.

Shadow Step

When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.

While in total darkness you can use Step of the Wind without expending any ki points, and you can use an action to become invisible until you make an attack, cast a spell, or are in bright light.

Umbral Protection

While in total darkness, you may add your wisdom modifier twice, instead of once, to your armor class when using unarmored defense to determine it. However, while in bright light, you must only add half your wisdom modifier (rounded down), instead of your wisdom modifier, to your armor class when using unarmored defense to determine it.

Umbral Perfection

While in total darkness, you may add your wisdom modifier to your attack and damage rolls.
