Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sometimes in a Barbarian tribe a rare occurence happens when a child is born exceptionally smart and charismatic but relatively weaker than others physically. These people are called Arcane fury sorcerers, people that channel rage through magic and not brute strength. An Arcane fury is typically shunned by a barbarian tribe because of its odd abilities and weak bodies, they would often leave young arcane fury sorcerers in the wilderness to die. In rare occurances, a barbarian tribe acknowledges the unique abilities of the sorcerer and realize that the arcane fury is a great boon to the tribe.

An arcane fury sorcerer gains power by channeling the rage within them to cast magic. They use their rage to strengthen their magical capabilities and slightly empower their physical prowess.

Bonus proficiencies

At 1st level, you gain proficiency with three types of one-handed melee weapons of your choice. If you are proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your sorcerer spells.

Arcane rage

In battle, you fight with primal ferocity. On your turn, you can spend 2 sorcery points as a bonus action to enter an arcane rage.

While raging, you gain the following benefits if you aren't wearing armor:

•You gain a bonus to your Armor Class equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of +1).

•You can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll of any sorcerer spell you cast.

•You gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level.

•You have resistance to one damage type that you choose.

Your arcane rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't cast a damaging spell against a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your arcane rage on your turn as a bonus action.

Extra attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Arcane retaliation

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to cast a damaging cantrip against that creature.

Magical berserker

At 18th level, you can add your Charisma modifier to four damage rolls of any sorcerer spell you cast when you have fewer than half of your hit points remaining (stacks with arcane rage to a total of five damage rolls).
