Bard
Base Class: Bard

The College of Movement, a specialized practice of bardic magic that turns the bard into a brilliant war dancer. They learn to utilize the flow of their bodies and their own acoustic magical abilities to influence those around them with powerful bursts of magical inspiration; using the liquid dance of your body to influence the magical weave and shape it to follow your commands.

Those who follow the path of the body have learned to turn and twist their bodies with the gentle flow of the weave of magic, in essence becoming a tangible extension of it and through this have began to tap into abilities to take the magic of the weave and use it as an invigorating burst to their allies and themselves.

Invigorating Performance.

Beginning at level 3 when you chose this College you learn the ability to perform a dance that fills your allies with power and quickens their hand. This ability allows you to, as an action, expend one use of your bardic to invigorate one ally that can see you. That ally can use this action to perform an attack at a creature within its reach, using the Bardic Inspiration die on the attack role. At the end of this attack, the affected ally may make a saving throw against one condition currently afflicting them.

Rhythm of the Body.

Beginning at 3rd level you learn the ability to use your body as an instrument for bardic performances. This rhythm fills you with a powerful determination and allows you to spread the essence of your dance to others. This unique way of moving your body grants you many unique advantages:

  • While you wear no armour you gain charisma modifier to AC (Minimum 1)
  • Your natural grace increases your base speed by 5 feet.
  • Your ability to fully tap into your body's Rhythm allows you to increase the benefit of rest. This lets you roll a free die when recouping via a short rest. This die is the same as your bardic inspiration dice.

Quick step of the Dancer.

Beginning at 6th level you learn to, as a bonus action, expend one die of Bardic Inspiration and take the Disengage Action. During this movement if you come within 5 feet of an ally who can see you, you can allow them to make an attack using the die of inspiration. If you do not come into reach of an ally able to make this attack the die is spent.

War-dancer's Advance.

Beginning at 14th level you have perfected the motions of the War-dancer. Your movements inspire your allies and allow you to conquer the battlefield with fluid movements that your enemies find trouble tracking. You may use a full round action to perform a War-dance. This War-dance provides the following benefits:

  • You move your entire base movement speed.
  • You may make up to two melee attacks as you move, each attack must be against a different target.
  • Should you come within 5 feet. of an ally during this movement you can spend a dice of Bardic Inspiration to let them make a melee attack against an enemy in their reach using the bardic inspiration on the attack.
  • Any ally you you expend a Bardic Inspiration die during this movement comes under the effect of the Haste spell until the end of their next turn. When the effect runs out at the end of their next turn they do not suffer the round of being stunned.

This ability can be used once and recharges after you take a long rest.
