Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The high seas are a savage and ruthless place, and you've learned to embrace that vicious, volatile nature, and incorporate it into a driving force behind your own savage battles.

On land or sea, you are a force to be reckoned with - moving easily about a battlefield with quick feet and brutal strikes, to blow down your enemies, and inspire likeminded savagery in your crew. But no buccaneer is above the laws of the sea, and you abide by this twisted sense of honor, just as readily as you toss the broken remains of your foes into the depths.

Parley

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain Proficiency in Intimidation and Persuasion skills, to better abide by the social laws of the sea.

Crashing Waves

At 3rd level, your expertise at swashbuckling and buccaneering has you quick on your feet, and adept at closing with your enemy even in the throes of battle. While raging, you gain an additional 1d6 damage on attacks made after moving more than 5 feet. Additionally, as part of any Attack Action, you may choose to move up to 5 feet in any direction without provoking an opportunity attack.

Blow 'em Down!

At 10th level, you've learned to invoke bloodthirst in your crew. As a bonus action, you call for blood, and rile the spirits of your allies. Up to ten other creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you that can hear you gain advantage on attack rolls and gain your bonus Rage Damage until the start of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Keelhaul

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to move not only yourself, but your opponents around more easily on the battlefield. While raging, you may make a bonus action to Grapple an opponent. If the opponent was attacked by you this round, they suffer Disadvantage for its contested check. You do not require a free hand to grapple a creature in this method, though if you have no free hand the grapple breaks at the end of your turn.

Movement made as a part of the Crashing Waves Class Feature is not halved while grappling a creature.

Blood on the Waters

Beginning at 14th level, your buccaneering bloodthirst becomes more literal, and when the odds aren't in your favour, you pull out all the stops. If an attack brings you to below half of your maximum hitpoints and you are raging, or your enter your Rage while below half of your maximum hitpoints, you gain temporary hitpoints equal to your levels in Barbarian. These hitpoints are refreshed to your Barbarian level each time you succeed in an attack action, but cannot exceed your Barbarian level.
