Monk
Base Class: Monk

You follow a monastic tradition that opposes magic in spell form. As a result of studying this tradition, you have a curious resistance to magical attacks and can focus your Ki into powerful antimagic blows and rituals.

Anti-Magic Defense

When you choose this tradition at third level, you gain protection from damage caused by magical spells. You gain resistance to all magical damage, including the damage from elemental magic from creatures such as dragons and elementals. In addition, your training allows you to regain ki points when you are damaged by spell attacks. For every three spell attacks that damage you, you regain one ki point. However, this tradition comes at a cost. To follow this tradition, you can not wear or use any magical items, otherwise, you lose the abilities gained from this tradition.

Spell Gate Strike

At sixth level, you gain the ability to strike spell gates on the body, closing them and cutting off a spellcaster from the source of their magic. By expending one ki point, you can make a melee attack that, if successful, will stop a foe, or friend, from casting any spells. On a successful hit, the victim of the attack must roll a Constitution Saving Throw against your Ki save DC(8+proficiency bonus+ wisdom modifier) to shorten the effect. On a successful save, the effect will last for 12 seconds, on a failed save the effect lasts for 24 seconds. However, additional ki points can be expended before the strike to lengthen the effect, 6 seconds for every additional ki point.

Anti-Magic Rituals

At eleventh level, you gain the ability to use the rituals of your tradition to protect yourself and your allies from magical attacks. By expending five ki points, you can create a ten-foot radius anti-magic sphere around yourself that prevents all magic from entering or leaving it, and prevents the casting of spells. You also gain the ability to extend your resistance to magical damage to your allies. You must use one ki point for every ally protected, and the effect lasts for one hour. While under this protection, allies are unable to cast spells or they will lose the effect. When this ability is used, you gain amplified resistance to magical attacks, allowing you to take one-fourth of the damage.

Magic Mirror

At seventeenth level, you are able to reflect damage from magical attacks. When a magical attack hits you, you are able to use your reaction to gain full immunity to the attack and roll a number of the attack dice equal to the number of ki points spent (up to half of the number of attack dice) and add the total to your next unarmed attack.

Diametrical Training

You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill due to your intense anti-magic training.
