Base Class: Rogue
A Shadow Dancer is not a fighter in the conventional sense, they glide through the battlefield, unseen and unhindered. they strike down their opponents with precision without them knowing what has happened to them. They move through shadow and smoke and find their target, no matter how well guarded it may be, the Shadow Dancer will reach it.
This own form of fighting only a few get the chance to learn and even less succeed. it is the art of the fey, who move unseen through the planes since the beginning of their existence.
Shadow Magic
When you choose this subclass at 3rd level, you also learn the spells darkness, pass without trace, sleep and silence. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells. You can cast spells using this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier. You regain expended uses of this trait when you finish a long rest. Additionally, you learn the minor illusion cantrip and can cast it at will. You also have darkvision to see in magical darkness.
Spatial Awarenesse
Starting at 3rd level, you roam the battlefield with tactical skill and supernatural reflexes. You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Intelligence modifier.
You also gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; you don’t need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you are within 5 feet of it, no other creatures are within 5 feet of you, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll. All the other rules for Sneak Attack still apply to you.
Shadows Flurry
At 9th level, you learn to attack with such unexpected speed that you can turn a miss into another strike. Once on each of your turns when you miss with a weapon attack, you can make another weapon attack as part of the same action. Once per turn as a reaction you can make an attack of opportunity against an enemy within your reach.
Midnight Shape
Starting at 13th level, you can use a bonus action on your turn to create a perfect illusion of yourself that lasts for 1 minute, or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell). The illusion appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of you. As part of the same bonus action on your turn, you can move the illusion up to 30 feet to a space you can see, but it must remain within 120 feet of you.
For the duration, you can switch places with your duplicate once per turn as a free actrion.
You can use this feature 2 times per short rest.
Shadow Itself
Starting at 17th level as a bonus action, you can magically transform yourself into a shadowy form. In this form, you have resistance to all damage except force and radiant damage, and you can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. You take 5 force damage if you end your turn inside an object.
You remain in this form for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you die, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action.
