Base Class: Sorcerer
Long ago, it was revealed that the elven line of Vol—a house that practiced the art of necromancy and bore the Dragonmark of Death—was engaged in secret blood rites with a clan of dragons. The discovery of this pact triggered an unprecedented alliance between the Sibling Kings of Aerenal and the dragons of Argonnessen. The Sibling Kings proclaimed that House Vol would be exterminated to the last member, and the Mark of Death would be eliminated from the world.
The line of Vol had long been rivals of the Undying Court, and many whisper even today that the attack on House Vol was nothing more than an excuse to eliminate a political rival. But others believe that what the Undying Court truly feared was a path shown in the Draconic Prophecy—that a child born of dragon and elf could become a godlike avatar of death.
Blood Magic
1st-level Blood of Vol feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Blood Magic Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an necromancy or a transmutation spell.

Force of Will
1st-level Vol's Blood feature
Your mark and your bloodline instill you with innate protections that make it more difficult to harm. You may add your charisma modifier to your armor class while you are unarmored.
Whenever you deal cold, force, poison, or psychic damage, you may choose to change it to necrotic damage. When you reach 6th level in this class it expands your range to include acid, fire, lightning and radiant damage.
Willful Existence
6th-level Blood of Vol feature
The depths of your bloodline have allowed you to become more resolute against the dead and frigid, you gain resistance to necrotic and cold damage. Furthermore, the energy coursing through you can contort spells that would deal necrotic damage into restorative power. Whenever you target a creature with a spell that deals necrotic damage, you may choose to heal the target(s) for the amount of damage rolled. The targets may choose to be subject to the spell voluntarily requiring no saving throws or attack rolls.
Cold Blooded
14th-level Blood of Vol feature
You ignore resistance and immunity to necrotic damage and you are immune to the frightened and charmed condition.
Adrenaline Rush
18th-level Vol's Blood feature
You sense living and non-living creatures that surround you. As an action, you may open your awareness to all active creatures to a range of 100 feet. This awareness lasts for one hour, until you die, are incapacitated, or take a short or long rest. When you take this action you may choose a number of creatures equal up to your charisma modifier and the chosen creatures may immediately benefit from a short rest. These creatures are bound to you for the duration of the awareness, any creature bound to you in this way gains the maximum amount of healing from any source, they also benefit from your resistances and immunities.
Once you use this action, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 7 sorcery points to use it again.
