Path of the Scorched

Barbarians that have followed this Primal Path are able to infuse fire into their rage, attacks, and very being. This makes them more resistant to fire, as well as allowing them to make their enemies face their fire's fury.

Fiery Rage

When you rage, you now are surrounded with a fiery aura that empowers your melee attacks and gives you protection against other flames. You gain fire resistance and all of your melee attacks deal an extra 2d6 fire damage while raging. The damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 3d6 at 5th level, 4d6 at 10th level, 5d6 at 15th level, and 6d6 at 20th level.

Spitting Flames

You gain the ability to launch your flames at enemies while raging, allowing you to attack at range, but only while raging.

Flame of Retribution

While raging, you can counterattack when hit in melee combat with a small spurt of flames that damages your attacker. You can use your reaction to deal fire damage equal to your character level to an attacker after being hit by a melee attack while raging.

Burning Perseverance

While raging, you are completely unharmed by any fire you come into contact with, natural or magical or other. Also, due to the internal flame burning within you, your body is permanently altered, hardening you against heat and cold alike. Gain fire immunity while raging, gain both fire resistance and cold resistance all the time, and you don't suffer the effects of extreme heat or extreme cold.
