Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

You are an expert huntsman and are trained in tracking people and traveling through nature. You are skilled surviving in the wild while befriending the animals and plants on your travels.

Excellent Marksmanship

Starting at 3rd level, you can focus your skills and attacks. You can cast one of the cantrips true strike or guidance at will and as a bonus action.

Natural Recovery

Starting at 3rd level, you have learned to regain some of your magical energy by studying the magic of nature. Once per day when you finish a Short Rest, you can choose expended Spell Slots to recover. The Spell Slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your Ranger level (rounded up). For example, if you’re a 4th-level Ranger, you can recover up to two levels worth of Spell Slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level Spell Slots.

Natural Magic

Also at 3rd level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Level 2: Disguise Self, Purify Food and Drink

Level 5: Animal Messenger, Calm Emotions

Level 9: Speak with Plants, Tiny Hut

Level 13: Dominate Beast, Greater Invisibility

 Level 17: Mislead, Scrying

Keen Foresight

Starting at 7th level, you gain keen foresight into your enemies' actions. You can use your reaction for the upcoming round to roll a saving throw with advantage on your turn. Using this must be declared at the end of your turn and lasts until the beginning of your next turn.

Evasion

Starting at 11th level, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area Effects, such as a blue dragon's lightning breath or a Fireball spell. When you are subjected to an Effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Expert Tracker

Starting at 15th level, you gain access to the spells locate object and locate creature prepared, and they don't count against the number of ranger spells you can prepare. If you already have either of these spells prepared in your ranger spell list when advancing up to this level, you may replace them with a different ranger spell at the time that you gain them. This is in addition to the spell you can normally swap when leveling up. (Ex. If you have locate object when you level up from 14 to 15, you can swap out this spell for any other ranger spell as well as another one of your ranger spells in addition to the additional spell swap you do when  leveling up.)
