Base Class: Monk
As a Way of the Tempest Monk, you can harness the power of the wind to aid you in various ways. While on this path you can learn to increase your movement speed, punch from greater distances, move opponents into a desired direction, and even command the tempest to protect you from missile attacks!
Hand of the Hurricane
Once during each of your turns, you can spend 1 ki point to empower your next unarmed attack. If you do, that attack has its range increased by 5 feet.
On a hit, the attack deals additional bludgeoning equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Widom modifier. The target must also succeed in a Strength Saving Throw or be pushed 5 feet back.
Steps of the Breeze
A gentle breeze is always at your feet.
Your footsteps make no sound, and you do not trigger pressure plates.
The damage die for fall damage you take is reduced to a d4, and you do not fall prone when taking fall damage. Whenever you use your reaction to reduce falling damage, you now take zero damage from any fall.
You can expel the wind at your feet. If you do you can either gain movement equal to half your speed, or force an enemy to move 10 feet in a direction of your choosing. If you do, the effects of Steps of the Breeze are lost until you take a long rest.
Cyclone of Defense
You can instantly muster the winds surrounding you into a protective cylinder.
Whenever you or an ally within 5 feet is subject to a missile attack, breath attack, or forced to make a Dexterity saving throw, you can use your reaction and spend 2 ki points. If you do, any missile or breath attack is forced to be re-rolled. Any failed Dexterity saving throw is treated as a success, and a succesful throw prevents all damage from that source.
Hail of Strikes
You've mastered the winds, and can use them to strike many a foe at once.
As an action on your turn, you can expend 10 ki points. If you do, you can make up to 6 attacks on different targets using Hand of the Hurricane. The range for these attacks is increased by 25 feet, and the push back effect is increased by 10 feet.
