Base Class: Cleric
You were a normal dude with a normal life, just doing your think. You went to go to the store to get some groceries and didn't pay attention while crossing the street. Before you knew it, Truck-kun came along and rammed you away. Now you wake up and find yourself in a fantasy world.
Bonus Proficiency & Feat
At 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and gain the Dual Wielder feat.
Protagonist Syndrome
Also at 1st level, you can weaponize your plot armor. When a creature within 5 feet of you that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to raise your AC by a number equal to your Wisdom Modifier (a minimum of 1) for one round. If you manage to block the attack, you can make a melee weapon attack against the target.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Channel Divinity: Protagonist Rage
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to wield the raging power of the Isekai Protagonist.
During this round you can take the attack action two extra times.
If you shout something random in Japanese, your attacks this round will also have advantage.
Appraisal Screen
At 6th level, when you pick up an item, you can use an action to appraise it. This counts as the Identify spell but acts as a pop-up screen in front of you that only you can see.
Weapon Skill: Twin Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with Nippon Steel. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 slashing damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
This damage counts as a magical attack for the purpose of overcoming resistances.
Protagonist Power: Hero
At 17th level, you unlock your true power as the Main Character. Your speed is unequalled when you first strike an opponent. Whenever a target is within 30ft. and it is the first time you attack that target in that encounter. You can teleport behind the target and make the first attack with advantage.
