Base Class: Fighter

Along your travels, after many battles and hardships, your fighting spirit has begun to awaken. Using your strange array of weapons to first surprise your foes, you finish them off in a single cleave of your sword. 

the subclass is focused on using outlandish weapons and tactics to take your foes down before they can fully realize what has even happened to them. Fully inspired by the one-eyed, one-armed, samurai Baiken for the fighting game Guilty Gear.

Hidden Arsenal

You gain Proficiency in Sleight of Hand checks if you aren't already proficient. You also gain access to special weapons you can use. You must have a free hand open to use these weapons.

some of these weapons may require a save, the DC being 8+prof+Strength or Dexterity (whichever ability is larger)

 

Youzansen: After using the attack action, you can use a BA to swing a large fan of blades around yourself, hitting anything in a 5ft circle around you, either Horizontally or Vertically. The fan deal 1d4 slashing, and has the finesse property. You make a new attack roll against each enemy around you. the damage increases to 2d4 at 10th level

 

Kabari: A spiked metal claw at the end of a long chain. as an action, you can throw the chain at an enemy 10ft away. the claw has finesses, and if it hits the enemy they must make a strength save or be pulled up to 10ft to you, taking 1d6+mod piercing damage if they end up within 5ft of you. You can then use a BA to make a follow up attack with the weapon you are holding. you can attempt to pull the enemy to you again using an action if they pass on subsequent turns (unless the enemy uses an action to remove the claw). if the grappled enemy is size large or larger, they auto pass the save, but you can choose to pull yourself to the enemy. The range of the Claw and the distance pulled increases to 15ft at 10th level.

 

Kenjyu: You produce a small Japanese Feudal canon, shooting a firework at the enemy. as a BA, you shoot the canon at an enemy, it exploding on contact. After hitting an enemy or traveling 15ft in a straight line, it explodes in a small colorful display. creatures within 5ft of the explosion must make a dex save or take 1d8 fire damage. if you hit a creature within 5ft of you, you take 1d8 fire damage and are knocked back 5ft. You can only use this weapon a number of times equal to your proficiency mod each short rest. The damage increases to 2d8 at 10th level, and the fireball travel distance increases to 20ft

Azami

You've learned to defend yourself in the split second before an attack hits you. when you are the target of an attack, As a reaction, you can add your Proficiency bonus to your AC, and if you turn a melee attack from a hit into a miss, you can make a weapon attack against the enemy that attacked you. you must be holding a weapon to use this reaction, and it can only be used a number of times equal to your proficiency per short or long rest.

Deeper Awakening

You reach a point of deeper awakening within your spirit. Your Hidden Arsenal weapons improve, and are considered magical for overcoming resistances and immunity. Also, when you use your Second Wind feature, you also gain Temporary HP equal to half the number rolled.

Garyou Tensei

ou forgo your standard attacks, opting for an all out slash against an enemy. when you use the attack action, you can opt to make 1 attack roll against an enemy, dealing the damage of the attack multiplied by the number of attacks you have +2 (if you have 3 attacks per turn, then the damage is multiplied by 5). you can use this feature once per long rest, only losing the use if the attack hits. you must declare you are using this feature before you make any attack rolls, and you must be holding a proficient weapon.

True Awakening

our spirit has fully awakened, increasing your ferocity in battle. The AC gained from Azami increases to Prof+Strength or Dex (whichever stat is lower), and the number of follow up attacks increases to 2. You also gain a second use of Second Wind.
