The warlock doesn't always know who is the Deity  behind the weapon, throught deceit they can think they made a pact with a Deity they follow with their whole heart when in fact it is someone from the Trickery side of things, like Cyric.

Bonding feat

As you bond with the weapon, you learn how to wield it instinctively. Even if you never used such a type of weapon. You gain proficiency with the weapon you bonded with if you don't already have it.

Divine Weapon

At 1st level, you acquire the training necessary to effectively arm and armor yourself for battle. You gain proficiency with medium armor and shields, and one martial weapon.

The influence of the Deity who created your weapon and bonded your soul to, allows you to mystically channel your being through that weapon. When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, the features benefit will also apply to that weapon. But you will not be able to use any other weapon then the pact one, and your weapon will not be wieldable for anyone else.

Sacred Defense

You learn to resist your deity's energy affinity (Necrotic, Force or Radiant)

Divine Wrath

Starting at lvl 10, the divine champion channels a portion of her patron's power into wrath, giving her a +3 bonus on attack rolls, damage, and saving throws for a number of rounds equal to her Charisma bonus. While this effect is active, damage taken by the divine champion is reduced by 5. this ability can be used once per long rest and requires a bonus action.

Divine Chosen

Starting at 14th level your deity can mend your wounds in battle, as a bonus action you regain hit points equal to 1d6 + proficiency and you aren’t incapacitated. You can use this feature once per short rest.
