Base Class: Paladin
They who take the Oath of The Aegis make an oath to be the shield of their comrades—though not necessarily in the strictly literal sense. Rather than focusing on the use of a physical shield, they specialize in defensive magic and sharing that protection with those who bravely fight alongside them.
They are devoted to protecting their own group of precious comrades above all other parties and will help them stand against all odds. Those who take the Oath of The Aegis are called Barrier Knights, and Aegis Bearers.
Tenets of The Aegis
Loyalty. The party of friends and comrades to whom you extend the protection of your aegis are your kin, your brothers and sisters in arms, and you will stand by each other in the darkest of times, giving your life for one another if need be.
Solidarity. You are joined with your brothers and sisters in a common cause. You must remain loyal to this cause in order to remain loyal to your group.
Responsibility. You are responsible for supporting your party in all their endeavors, with your Aegis, your weapon, or your voice.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Greater Aegis. In place of your movement action, when you cast an oath spell or a spell from the paladin spell list with the target of self, you can use your Channel Divinity to spread the effects of that spell for its duration to friendly creatures within your Aura of Aegis. Affected creatures who leave the Aura of Aegis, also lose the effects of any spell spread by Greater Aegis and do not regain the effect of non-concentration spells if they re-enter the aura.
Sublime Concentration. As a reaction to failing a concentration save on a spell, you may choose to reroll the concentration save and choose the higher result. If you succeed you do not need to roll concentration on that spell again until the end of your next turn, even if you take damage.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

- You expend any number of points remaining in your healing pool (lay on hands). You and the creatures you choose within your Aura of Aegis regain hit points equal to the number of points expended. If this healing would exceed one's maximum hit points, the excess healing is instead gained as temporary hit points.
- You can hold and maintain concentration on up to 2 spells at once.
- You can Channel Divinity without using charges.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
