Base Class: Rogue
Relying heavily on staying out of sight and far away, the unseen rogue excels at ranged combat and harrying their enemies from low to the ground. Probably having spent time in open lands like rolling hills or thin forests, you take your time to aim and make every shot count. Your expertise in silence and camouflage bordering on the magic is why your target won't even know what hit them.
Firearms Proficiency
Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with fire arms, being able to add your proficiency modifier to attack rolls made with fire arms.
Lay Low
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you display a certain discipline for staying ever so still. Whenever you make an attack roll with a ranged weapon, and you are prone and hidden from the target, your position is not revealed if you miss.
If you damage a creature with a ranged weapon attack while prone and hidden you may roll a Dexterity (Stealth) opposed by the targets Wisdom (Perception), remaining hidden on a success.
Out of sight, Out of earshot
The absolute stillness of your craft has reached the borderline of magical and through no meager amount of practice have you reached a new level of marksmanship.
When you reach 9th level, you gain the ability to cast Silence and Pass without Trace once each with only somatic components. Once you have cast one of these spells you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
Quick-fire
Aiming is what you do best and keeping a trained eye on a target has its perks.
Starting at level 9, whenever you deal damage with a ranged weapon attack while hidden and prone and you don't kill the enemy outright, you can make an additional ranged weapon attack as a bonus action with the same weapon against the same target.
Reposition/ Cover Fire
By 13th level, you have reached a stability of hand like none other and staying breathlessly still until opportunity arises. Whenever a hostile creature takes damage from an attack made by one of your allies, you can use your reaction to move up to half your speed and take the Hide action.
Alternatively, whenever an enemy makes a melee attack roll against one of your allies you can use your reaction to make a ranged attack against the target enemy, doing so before you know if the triggering attack would hit, imposing disadvantage on the triggering attack if you miss but imposing disadvantage on all subsequent attacks made by the creature this turn as well if you hit.
Gone
When you reach 17th level, you have become one with the shadows and your existence is barely noticed, you are constantly hidden and only creature who know to look for you can perceive you, this means that you are never detected by passive perception.
You also gain advantage on saving throws against any divination magic and cannot be perceived through magical scrying sensors.
