Base Class: Monk
You have studied a lost martial art under a reckless teacher. You now know the forbidden technique of using your own soul to light the fire of your Ki. The Way of the Soul Fire Shogun was created by a Sun Soul Monk who desired the power to take control of his home country. In his quest for power, he developed a way to burn his own soul in return for great strength. It took many years but eventually, he conquered his home enforcing an Iron will upon the people. He then thought it necessary to find a way to ensure his reign for many years, so he set about finding a way to rejuvenate his soul, which was nearly entirely burned up. But before he could find a way, the fire in his soul extinguished, killing him. His apprentice completed his research and found that focusing one's Ki could keep the fires of one's soul burning. The apprentice became the new ruler of the country, and with his new technique, he was able to reign over the country for 500 years.
Burning Soul Strikes
Starting at 3rd level you, gain the ability to fuel the embers of your soul to power your blows. You can add an additional die of fire damage, equal to your martial arts die, to attacks you make as an action. This consumes 1 Ki point.
Willpower Fuel
Starting at 6th level, your body is wreathed in blue life-giving flames, that heal your body and soul. As a bonus action, you heal 1d8 plus your monk level and become immune to the fear condition until your next long rest. This costs 3 ki points to activate.
Ascension of the Phoenix
At 11th level, you are able to use your flames to grant yourself the power of flight. By spending 3 ki points you can use a bonus action you cause Your arms to shift into vast wings made from blue flames, causing you to gain a flying speed of 60ft. These wings last a minute and end early if you fall unconscious. Once you have activated Ascension of the Pheonix you gain a limited Action known as Arial Burst. By spending 2 ki points make an Acrobatics check against a creature of size large or greater. The DC for the check is equal to the creature's AC (you must meet the DC to pass). On a success, you deal 1d12 plus half your monk level Fire damage and the creature can't take attacks of opportunity on you. On a fail, you fall prone at the creature's feet and your movement becomes 0 for the rest of your turn.
Intangible Azure
Starting at lvl 17, your body and your Soulfire become one, making you harder to hit as attacks pass through your body. As an action that consumes 5 Ki Points, you gain several effects for 5 turns: Plus 2 to your AC, immunity to fire damage, all your unarmed attacks deal an extra 1d6 fire damage and you heal 1d10 at the start of each of your turns.
