Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

A paladin devoted to discovering the hidden secrets of the arcane.

Oath Spells

You have access to the wizard spell list when you choose to prepare your spells.

In addition, when you prepare the list of paladin spells that are available for you to cast, you are now able to prepare a number of spells equal to your Charisma modifier + your paladin level.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Eldritch presence. You can use your Channel Divinity to exude a magically beguiling presence. As an action, you force each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes charmed by you for 1 minute. The charmed creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Cantrip alacrity. You can use your Channel Divinity to imbue yourself with additional magical prowess. As a bonus action, choose 2 cantrips from the wizard spell list.  For the next hour, you can cast them as though you knew them.

Aura of the Spell-Knight

Starting at 7th level, you constantly emanate an aura of arcane might while you’re not incapacitated. The aura extends 10 feet from you in every direction, but not through total cover.

If a creature charmed by you is in the aura, it has disadvantage on any saving throw against spells you cast, and your spell attacks targeting it have advantage.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Deadly Presence

Starting at 15th level, the power of your Eldritch Presence grows in might to twist the fabric of your enemies' minds.  As a bonus action on your turn, you can inflict damage equal to your charisma modifier + your proficiency to all creatures charmed by your Eldritch Presence.

Spell Mastery

At 20th level, you have achieved such mastery over certain spells that you can cast them at will. Choose two 1st-level wizard spells. You can cast those spells at their lowest level without expending a spell slot when you have them prepared. If you want to cast either spell at a higher level, you must expend a spell slot as normal.

By spending 8 hours in study, you can exchange one or both of the spells you chose for different spells of the same levels.
