Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Reconciliation with oneself is a long and painful road, but those paladins who follow this oath make it their day to day, and apply it to all those in need of guidance and support as if they were themselves.

Principles of the Oath:

Masquerade. We all have masks to protect ourselves from others, but not you. Sincerity and honesty keep you away from illusions and pain.

Company. In solitude and isolation live the greatest fears, forming a group and maintaining it is sacred for you. Keep yourself around others.

Reflection. Treat others with the same behavior with which they treat you, regardless of the cost or the rank.

Protection. People are just as fragile as mirrors. Dispel the false hopes of illusions and pain, saving them is your duty.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of Mirrors Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:

  • Invoke protection. As an action, you raise your holy symbol and summon a series of mirrors equal to your proficiency bonus to protect yourself or your party, if they are within 30 feet of you when you activate this effect, and you can choose one creature per mirror created. Mirrors are shaped any way you like, but they always orbit around the target they're protecting.
Each mirror has life points equal to half of your paladin level (rounded up) + your Charisma modifier. Whenever you take damage, the mirror takes the damage instead. If this damage reduces the mirror to 0 hit points, you take any remaining damage. They last for one hour, after which they disappear.
  • Mirroring. As a reaction after dealing damage or healing a creature, you can summon shattered mirror shards around you in a 30-foot area.
For 1 minute, each time you deal damage or heal a creature, you may choose a second target within the area, dealing the same damage or healing as the first. If it requires an attack roll, you use the same roll as the first, and if it requires a saving throw, the second creature must roll normally to be affected

Aura of Reality

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you can see through and are inmune to illusions and can't be stunned while you are conscious.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Mirrored retaliation

At 15th level, you gain the ability to return attacks to your opponents, as if reflected in a mirror. When a creature makes an attack roll and misses within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to attack that creature back. This attack uses the same damage die as the original, but it uses your Charisma modifier on the attack and damage rolls, and the damage type for this attack is psychyc.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), and you regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Dome of Illusions

At 20th level, you become the bridge between the world of mirrors and illusions and your own. As an action, you can unleash this power in a 120-foot dome centered on you, causing the following changes around yourself and yourself for 1 hour, until you lose consciousness or die:

  • Upon activation, you can choose if the area is magically darkened or not.
  • You gain true sight, and cannot be blinded within the dome.
  • Creatures hostile to you become susceptible to illusion magic and frightened, and charmed conditions, even if they are immune to it, as long as they remain in the dome.
  • You can create bridges and platforms, as well as manipulate the ground, moving it or turning it into difficult terrain. You can't move more than a 5-foot cube of ground at once, and it cant and surfaces created by this effect have 1 life point, and are made of glass. Upon ending the effect or moving outside the area, the terrain returns to normal as if it hadn't happened.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you take a long rest.
