Base Class: Barbarian
This Barbarian Path is meant to give an option to those players who wish to play a party support style Barbarian or even a mounted combatant style.
Tribal Bond
As a reaction to an ally getting hit you can enter a rage. If you rage in this way, you can move up to half your speed and make one melee attack against a creature.
If you have a mount, your mount can also rage and it follows the same rules for raging as you.
Adjacent Defense
While you are within 5ft of an ally, you gain a +1 bonus to your AC.
If you have a mount, while you are within 5ft of your mount its AC is equal to yours.
Tribal Charge
When you roll for initiative you can use the initiative of any ally within 30ft of you, or you can share your initiative roll with one ally of your choice within range. Once you use this feature you must finish a Long Rest before you can use it again.
If you have a mount and it is within 60ft of you, it can roll a separate initiative roll and you can use that roll for your initiative or it can use yours.
Battle Cry
On your turn, you can use an action to let out your battle cry choosing one of the following options.
- Allies within 30ft of you have advantage on melee attack rolls and score critical hits on a roll of 18-20 until the start of your next turn.
- Enemies within 30ft must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw equal to 8 + proficiency bonus + Charisma modifier or become frightened of you for 1 minute. Creatures frightened by this can repeat the saving throw at the start of each of their turns. Once a creature succeeds on the saving throw, they cannot be frightened this way again for 24 hours.
On subsequent turns, if you chose the first option you can use your action to maintain your battle cry.
If you have a mount, their speed is doubled for the duration of the battle cry and they do extra damage on each of their attacks equal to your proficiency bonus.
