Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Work in progress.

Maternal Instinct

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can enter a state of maternal instinct. When you see an ally take damage, you may activate your rage as a reaction, gaining the following effects for the duration of your rage:

While you are at least 15 ft. away from your target ally, you may only move toward your target ally or the last enemy that damaged them, gaining additional 30 feet walking speed when you do so. When attacking this enemy, add 1d4 to your attack roll and double the damage from your rage bonus.

If your rage would end early because you have not attacked or taken damage, you may extend your rage so long as you are within 15 ft. of your targeted ally. This cannot extend your rage beyond the normal one minute duration.

You are also able to pick up the injured ally, if they are willing, as an action in an attempt to bring them to safety, carrying them as if they weighed nothing. Carrying your ally requires the use of one hand.

A Mother's Love

Beginning at 6th level, you can better defend the subject of your maternal instinct. While using maternal instinct if you are within 5ft of your ally target, you may use your reaction to put yourself between an enemy's attack and that ally - forcing weapon and spell attacks to target you instead. This effect lasts until the start of your next turn

Everyone Is My Baby

Beginning at 10th level, when you activate your maternal instinct, grant your targeted ally temporary hit points equal to 2d6 plus your Barbarian level.

Also, when you see an ally other than your current target take damage, you may now switch your maternal instinct to be targeting them instead as a reaction. Grant your new target temporary hit points as well.

Cradle of Protection

Starting at 14th level, when an attack is made against your baby or a spell is cast targeting them, you can take an attack of opportunity against the attacker.
