Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Having the ability to bolster your defences with the strength of stone and spearhead an attack with the cutting power of diamonds, you will find yourself with a versatile skill set able to be used in a multitude of situations. Your inner connection with the stone and rock that surrounds you fills you with a sense of wanderlust - wanting to find the source of your gift and how to best use it to help those around you.

Stone Sight

At level 1, as an action you can try to peer through a rocks perceived "vision" of the past day, requiring a charisma (persuasion) check - DC is at the discretion of the DM.

Mantle

At level 1, your body becomes more resilient than most other humanoids, leaving you with little need to wear things such as armour.

Your Armor Class equals 10+DEX+CHA

Grasp of Granite

At level 6, after spending time with your gift, you have found a way to alter the latent magic lingering from your enemies - transmuting it into a hard shell of imprisonment.

Any target affected by a spell you have cast can be petrified after failing a Constitution saving throw using your spell save DC. This can only be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. Afterwards, you can use 1 Sorcery Point to use it again.

Aspect of Obsidian

At level 14, you call forth the earthen might within yourself, as a bonus action, to grant you the following properties for 1 minute:

  • You gain resistance to all damage types except from psychic
  • You gain a blindsight out to 30ft
  • You gain an unarmed attack equal to 2d6 bludgeoning damage
  • You gain temporary hit point equal to a number of d10s equal to your proficiency bonus.

This bonus action can only be used once per long rest, unless 5 Sorcery Points are used to enter this state again.

Radiant Awakening

At level 18, you can shed your rough exterior as a bonus action, revealing a form of pure crystal giving you the following properties for 1 minute:

  • You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed
  • You can use your bonus action to blind enemies 10ft around you for 1 minute after they fail a constitution saving throw - they may repeat the saving throw at the beginning of their subsequent turns
  • You deal 3d6 extra radiant damage bonus on your other attacks
  • You have resistance to Slashing and Piercing

However there are some drawbacks:

  • You lose your Mantle as you shed off your rough exterior
  • You gain a vulnerability to Bludgeoning damage
