Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lots of cantrips for you. This sublass is based on the UA Hedge Magic subclass

Scholar of Fundaments

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, you have devoted yourself to the study of perfection of fundamental magics, giving you a special insight and esoteric knowledge.

You learn three cantrips from any class's spell list (each can be from a different list, if you like). You learn three more cantrips at 6th, 10th, and 14th. These cantrips count as wizard cantrips for you.

Big on the Basics

At 2nd level, your heightened study of cantrip magic is asserted by the ease with which it is cast and maintained.

You can simultaneously concentrate on a cantrip and one other spell, as well as end the effects of your cantrips as a bonus action.

Also, your cantrips dont need material components, and only require either somatic or verbal components, your choice.

Practice Made Perfect

At 6th level, well-practiced cantrips benefit from your considerable expertise, honed to the verge of Perfection.

When you cast a cantrip, you can choose to apply the following effects:

-If the cantrip has a range other than self, you can double its range. If the range is touch, you can make the range 10 feet.

-If the cantrip has a duration of one minute or longer, you can choose to either double its duration (to a maximum of 24 hours) or increase its duration to 1 hour.

-You can force the cantrip's target to have disadvantage on the saving throw of the cantrip, or give yourself advantage to attack rolls for that cantrip's casting.

-If your cantrip's effects would end when you cast it again, they instead end when you cast it again while you already have two or more instances of that cantrip active. (eg, can stack cantrip effects)

You can use this ability to apply effects to cantrips up to your intelligence modifier, and this resets on a long rest. This number doubles at lvl 14

Swift Cantrip

At 10th level, casting basic magic has become second nature to you, no more trying than a wave of the hand and a terse word. When you cast a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action, you can cast it with a bonus action instead. If you do, you are not restricted from casting another spell during the current turn (like with Metamagic)

This can be done a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and this resets on a long rest. That number doubles at lvl 14

Fundaments Mastery

At 14th level, your perfected mastery over fundamentals of wizardry can extend to 'proper' magic, allowing you to apply your honed techniques to your more basic spells.

-You can cast any 1st level Wizard spell you know as a Wizard Cantrip, without expending a spell slot. Once you do this, you cannot cast a spell in this way again for 1 minute, and the effects of all other spells you cast in this way end.

-When you cast cantrips, you can choose up to two of Practice Made Perfect's Effects to apply instead of just one. Also, the number of uses for Practice Made Perfect and Swift Cantrip double.
