Base Class: Fighter

You have chosen to master your ability to wield the most efficient weapons, going as far as making your own weapon. Your talents in smithing act as an extension of your abilities as a fighter. As a Bladesmith, you will be fine-tuning your smithing and fighting abilities in order to better fit your style.

Weapons Expert

At 3rd level, you begin to understand how weapons are truly meant to be wielded. Your proficiency with weapons extends further, turning into expertise with simple melee weapons. Hybrid properties of these weapons such as being thrown do not apply expertise.

Forged Blade

At 3rd level, once per long rest, you can make your own weapon by choosing one that you are an expert in and using a smithy, or forge, along with teh necessary materials. In the same way, you can change a forged blade to have a +1 bonus or do an extra die of damage. If changed, the blade's bonus changes to the current bonus.

At higher levels, teh extra dice increase by one as you reach level 7, 10, 15, and 18; or +2 bonus at level 10, and +3 at level 18.

Weapons Master

At 7th level, your expertise in melee weapons extends to the martial archetype. You gain expertise in martial melee weapons.

Fighting Expert

At 7th level, when you use weapons that match your fighting style, your attacks gain a bonus of your INT MOD.

Archery: Spears, daggers, etc

Defense: Martial Arts and whatnot

Dueling: Shortswords, 1-handed longswords, etc.

Great Weapon Fighting: Greatswords, great axes, etc

Protection: Weapons you can use to parry attacks

Two-Weapon Fighting: Weapons you can dual wield

Empowered Strike

At 7th level, using a weapon that matches your fighting style, when you hit with that weapon you deal an extra die of damage or use your reaction to make a second attack with it. You can do this an amount of times equal to y our DEX MOD per long rest.

Improved Forged Blade

At 10th level, if you create a forged blade that matches your fighting style, you gain advantage on teh first attack with that weapon.

Enchant Blade

At 10th level, once a day, you can enchant one of your forged blades to do another type of damage than teh one it currently deals.

Expert Forged Blade

At 15th level, when you create or change a forged blade, you have advantage on STR/DEX rolls made with it, excluding damage rolls.

Further Enchant Blade

At 15th level, you can enchant your forged blade further to do an extra die of teh selected damage.

Master Blade

At 18th level, your forged blades allow you to use them w/ advantage, landing crits on a roll of 17+ on a d20.

Master Bladesmith

At 18th level, whenever you forge a weapon pertaining to your fighting style, you can enchant the blade with its damage type and bonus automatically. You can do this every three days assuming you have access to a forge.
