Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A Path of the Doomed barbarian harnesses the power of their rage through the form of a curse mark. Although those who wield the power of the curse mark usually say its effects are benign, those who are affected by it secretly feel things such as constant pain, hunger for more power, thirst for bloodshed, or something else.

The individuals who enter into this path usually tell of some life-changing event in the past that branded them with their curse mark. Some get it through deals with witches, pacts with devils, or even through powerful cursed items. Regardless of how they got cursed, they are now stuck with it. Because of this, all but the most foolhardy of cursed soul barbarians now choose to use their newfound powers in battle, as if to share upon the same blight they feel with their enemies.

Destined for Death

Starting at 3rd level, you can emanate a dark void like aura as a bonus action while raging you can change your rage into a death rage that lasts for the remaining duration of the rage. While in a death rage, you gain the below benefits.

• You have advantage on Constitution Checks and Constitution Saving Throws.

• When you make a melee weapon Attack using Strength, you can change the damage type to necrotic.

• You and all creatures within 10ft of you gain vulnerabilities to all damage types. Resistances and damage immunities are still applied normally.

Blood Lust

The scent of death only drives you to push yourself even further into battle.

Beginning at 6th level whenever you are raging or death raging and an enemy dies within 10 feet of you, you regain hit points equal to your proficiency modifier + your constitution Modifier.  Any excess hit points regained this way become temporary hit points.

Dragged to the Grave

Starting at 10th level you can now project your predestined death on others with ease. While death raging you and your allies no longer gain vulnerabilities to damage types you have resistances to. In addition all enemies trade their immunities for resistances.

Defying the Reaper

Beginning at 14th level, the curse that fuels your rages is now under your control and allows you to shrug off fatal blows. While raging or death raging, having 0 hit points doesn’t knock you unconscious. You still must make death-saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die until your rage ends.
