Whispers of the Tempest

3 Level Tempest Feature

As an action you can channel the sea to create a thick cloud of fog that surrounds you and heavily obscures the area for 20 feet in all directions, following you as you move. You and creatures designate instead treat this fog as lightly obscured. This fog lasts for 1 minute, spreads around corners and cannot be dispersed. You may use this once per short rest. 

Wrath of the Tempest

3 Level Tempest Feature

At 3rd level, when a creature within 5 feet of you that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to cause the creature to make a Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes lightning or thunder damage (your choice) equal to two rolls of your martial arts die on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to two times your Proficiency bonus (a minimum of twice). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Lightning Fang

3 Level Monk Feature

Expend a Ki point to cast Lightning Lure as a bonus action. For 1 minute your unarmed attacks do 1 additional roll of the martial arts die as thunder or lightning damage. Each use does not stack the duration but does reset it. 

Aura of the Tempest

6 Level Tempest Feature

Starting at 6th level, you exude an aura of violent winds when threatened. The area within 10 feet of you is considered difficult terrain for your enemies. Additionally, you may covert any damage you deal in this area to Lightning or Thunder damage

Storm Wing

6 Level Tempest Feature 

When you use your Step of the Wind, spectral wings of lightning sprout from your back that vanish at the end of your turn. While the wings exist, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Fury of the Tempest

11 Level Tempest Feature

You pound your fists into the ground, creating a burst of thunderous electrical energy that ripples outward from you. Each creature you choose within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 5d6 thunder damage, as well as 5d6 lightning damage (your choice), and be knocked prone. A creature that succeeds on its saving throw takes half as much damage and isn’t knocked prone.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom Modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses on a long rest. 

Grace of Air

11 Level Tempest Feature

By spending 4 Ki points, you touch a willing creature and for one hour the target's movement is unaffected by difficult terrain, and spells and other magical effects can neither reduce the target's speed nor cause the target to be paralyzed or restrained.

The target can also spend 5 feet of movement to automatically escape from nonmagical restraints, such as manacles or a creature that has it grappled. Finally, being underwater imposes no penalties on the target's movement or attacks.

Heart of the Tempest

17th Level Tempest Feature

  • You are immune to Lightning and Thunder damage.
  • You gain a flying speed of 60 feet. 
  • Your Aura of the Tempest extends to 30 feet.
