Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Internet connection, Terrible PC, maybe the server is a bit far for you. Whatever the reason may be, your character has embraced lag. Letting it define them, instead of rule.

When you choose this subclass, roll on the characteristics table below or pick from the options.

(if your dm doesn't like the funny. Just rename this subclass to The Time Touched)

Roll - 1d10

1 ---------- You voice constantly desynchs with your mouth

2 ---------- objects on your character lag behind. Floating for just a second before catching up to you.

3 ---------- sometimes other people see you walk through walls or doors. You swear it's never happened.

4 ---------- When you wake up your body is temporarily gray or checkered blank and pink.

5 ---------- Sometimes your limbs point or bend before they render and smooth

6 ---------- You never are able to hold things correctly. Yet they always work how their supposed to.

7 ---------- When you stand still, people often see you vibrate up and down.

8 ---------- your hair changes color. Like it can never load properly

9 ---------- You lose the need to blink.

10 ---------- from a distance you become low poly and slightly blurry. (this does not effect ranged attacks)

Delayed Strike

At 3rd level. You gain the ability to imbue lag into your weapons. When you hit on a weapon attack, you can choose to forgo all damage you deal during that turn for 1d4 - 1 rounds. On the final round, The target will take damage at the end of your turn. Roll all damage normally and add 1d10 weapon damage to the total. At 10th level this becomes 2d10. At 15th the damage increases to 3d10.

You can use this three times, regaining expended uses on a long rest.

Phantom Range

You are never where you seem to be. Sometimes you'll catch yourself bumping into things that aren't even there. Overtime, you have learned to use this skill to your advantage. Honing it into your martial techniques. When you reach 7th level, before you attack, you can choose to extend your range. Adding 20 feet to a melee weapon attack made. If the attack is made with a ranged weapon, you can instead make an attack originating from a place within 20 feet of you. Allowing you to remain Unseen. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. Regaining uses on a short rest.

Model Bug

As you continue to abuse the abilities of lag, it has started to cause your character troubles. But even this won't stop you. Instead, you have figured out how to make it benefit you. When reaching level 10. As an action, or on a rolled initiative of 1, your character will spontaneously bug out. While bugged, you gain these benefits, which lasts for 1 minute:

With a broken model, legs no longer hinder your movement. Your speed increases to 40 feet.

You gain advantage on intimidation

Once, on each of your turns. Due to your body ceasing to function like normal. You can gain advantage on one attack if the enemy has an intelligence of 10 or higher.

Once per bug, you can void an attack delt to you until the end of the transformation.

You can you this feature once and must take a long rest to replenish. But if it is activated due to initiative, you retain your use.

Lag Spike

Your lag has become more powerful than ever before. At times it seemed that not even you can handle it. Once you hit level 15, you can cause a surge of lag to swell within you. Temporarily disconnecting yourself from space and time.

While disconnected, you do not age, you do not think, nor do you require the basic needs of life, such as food, air, or water. Lingering damage like poison does not take effect while disconnected.

Before you disconnect you can choose one willing target or object as a save point by touch. Appearing within 10 feet of it once you reconnect.

You can disconnect for a maximum of 24 hours. You must set the time limit before disconnecting.

If you remain disconnected for at least 2 hours, you regain all expended Lag master abilities and you gain the effects of a short rest.

If you remain disconnected for at least 8 hours, you gain the benefits of a long rest and gain Temporary hp equal to 3d12 + fighter level. Which lasts until the next long rest.

Lag Switch

Your training has paid off and you can now truly call yourself a Lag Master. Having conquered errors, glitches, and unimaginable delay, you have figured out how to cause lag to the ''server.''

Upon reaching 18th level. Once per long rest, for 10 minutes you become the host of reality that is within a 60 foot cube centered on you.

Any creatures within this cube suffer a 15 foot penalty to their speed. You only take 10.

Creatures suffer a - 3 penalty to attacks made against you

You gain extra weapon range equal to 10 feet.
