Base Class: Monk
There is an elegance in intricate craftmanship not often appreciated by a passerby. The minute curve of folded paper to achieve a design so realistic it makes you wonder at the possibility of it's making. Monks of the Way of the Crane seek to embody this unbelievable refinement in their every movement, perfectly dancing above those who would harm, as they scatter impossibly refined sculptures below them to carry out their every whim.
Papercraft
You have learned to craft paper into Ki-enhanced origami that follow your command. Over the course of a long rest, you can craft a number of sculptures equal to half of your monk level + your Wisdom modifier (A minimum of one). For each origami that you craft choose it's purpose from the options below.
Over the course of a short rest, you can change the purpose of any origami you have to another option. Origami made using this feature lasts until the end of your next short rest.
Guiding
These light paper cranes have wings shaped to hold you aloft. When you use Step of the Wind you can expend one of these cranes to gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed until the end of the turn.
Piercing
When you make an attack granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can expend one of these sharp paper cranes to deal piercing damage to an object or creature of your choice within 30 feet of you equal to your martial arts die.
Scouting
These thinly shaped cranes are expertly designed to maneuver unseen. You can expend one of these cranes over the course of 10 minutes to send it up to 1 mile away from you to a place or point you describe. During this time it records the sights it sees in writing, which forms across it's body in a language you know of your choice. At the end of the duration the crane returns to you.
Printed Shield
The leftover scraps of your craft still contain remnants of ki, allowing you to form them into a defensive wall. When you expend an origami, you can form the paper into a barrier that has 3 hit points, or increase the hit points of an existing barrier by the same amount. When you would take damage, you can cause the barrier to take an amount of that damage instead. If this damage reduces the barrier to 0 hit points, you take any remaining damage. The barrier vanishes when it drops to 0 hit points, or when you finish a long rest.

Flock
Your power has grown great enough to manifest your papercraft in a split second. When you end your turn and have spent at least 2 ki points since the start of your turn, you gain a number of origami equal to half the number of Ki spent. The origami have a purpose of your choice and last for ten minutes.
Paperform
You have become one with the sculptures you create. You can spend 5 ki points to cast Simulacrum as an action without requiring material components. When you cast the spell in this way, it is changed in the following ways.
- The duration is 12 hours and you must create a duplicate of yourself.
- The duplicate is made of paper, and appears with the same number of origami that you currently have.
- You can expend 1 to 5 origami as a bonus action to repair the duplicate. It regains 5 hit points.
- The duplicate does not have ki points of it's own
- The duplicate has half of your max hp upon creation.
