Base Class: Artificer
Ever wanted to play as a Beyblade user in DND, well now you can. the ripper creates a metal top which zips around the battlefield dealing damage by moving through creatures space's. It's a nightmare for enemy spellcasters and it excels in annoying the back lines. It gets faster as you level and becomes a serious threat to even the largest creatures after a while.
Ripper blade
You can create a small metal top that serves as an effective weapon for you. The top is a tiny construct with AC18 and HP equal to 5 times your artificer level, if it is destroyed you can remake it with a spell slot as an action. It has evasion similar to the rogue ability. As an action you may spin the top and it spins for an hour without needing to be re-spun. As a bonus action on your turn you may direct the top if it is within 100ft of you. It has a speed of 30ft and whenever it moves through a creature’s space it deals 1 damage to that creature. It has a high jump and long jump of 15ft and does not need a running start. It may also make one attack per turn when you direct it to do so. It uses your spell attack modifier and deals 1d8 plus your intelligence modifier as slashing damage. Damage it deals is considered magical for overcoming resistances.
Rip it good
Your top’s speed increases to 40ft, it’s jump distance increases to 20ft. It may attack twice instead of once when you direct it to. Whenever it moves through a creature’s space it deals 2 damage instead of one. Whenever you cast a spell you may have the top be the origin for it instead of you. It is immune to damage dealt by your spells. Whenever a creature within 5ft of the top makes a ranged attack you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on that attack.
typhoon top
Your top has become far more powerful. It’s speed increases to 50ft and it’s jump distance increases to 25. Whenever it moves into a creature’s space it deals 3 damage to that creature.
-a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus you may have your top create a typhoon around itself and pull in all creatures near it. All creatures within 30ft of it must make a strength saving throw, on a failure they are pulled 15ft toward the top. If a creature moves into the top’s space then they take 2d8 slashing damage.
Top of the world
Your top has reached the apex of power. It’s speed increases to 60ft, it’s jump distances increase to 30ft. Whenever it moves into a creature’s space it deals 4 damage to that creature. The top may attack three times instead of two whenever you direct it to. All the top’s attacks deal an additional 1d8 fire damage in addition to it’s normal damage.
