Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

For some barbarians, rage is a means to an end - that end being violence. But for an Annihilation Berserkir, that rage is a constant. The overwhelming hatred of one's enemy is ever-present and the desire to tear limb from limb grows harder to control with every subsequent strike. An Annihilation Berserkir walks a path of untrammeled fury, slick with blood. To some, barbarians are a menace. But Annihilation Berserkirs are a scourge upon the battlefield. In battle, Annihilation Berserkirs are subject to fits of frenzy. Some howl like wild beasts and foam at the mouth. Some even gnaw the iron rims of their own shields. As you enter the berserker's rage, you thrill in the chaos of battle, heedless of your own health or well-being. You crave death and blood. And, as the bodies pile up before you, you find it harder and harder to recognize friend from foe, killing until you've made a sacrifice worthy of the Gods.

Bonus Proficiency

At 3rd level, you are proficient in the Intimidation skill and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make involving this skill. You also have advantage on saving throws against being Frightened.

Mindless Frenzy

At 3rd level, when you rage, you can go into a Mindless Frenzy. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make a single melee weapon attack as a bonus action in addition to your usual action every turn. When you slay an enemy while in a Mindless Frenzy, you begin to lose yourself to the battle joy and find it harder and harder to recognize friend from foe. Roll 1d100.

Result 1-5: You completely give in to the battle joy and you immediately attack the nearest humanoid or creature.

Result 6-25: You partially give in to the battle joy and attack the nearest humanoid or creature on your next turn.

Result 26-75: You partially give in to the battle joy and your next attack deals extra damage. The extra damage equals your level.

Result 76-100: You partially give in to the battle joy and you can immediately make an additional single melee weapon attack.

Indomitable Fury

At 6th level, you can't be Charmed or Frightened while raging. If you are Charmed or Frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.

Rage Transference

At 10th level, you gain the ability to transfer your hate, anger, and bloodlust to one of your allies. When you first enter your rage, one of your allies can use their reaction to enter your rage with you. When using Rage Transference, your ally gains all the standard benefits of raging but not the specific abilities of an Annihilation Berserkir. When your ally's rage ends, they suffer one level of Exhaustion.

Total Annihilation

At 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a single melee weapon attack against that creature. Additionally, when you slay an enemy while in a Mindless Frenzy, you can absorb the slain enemy's lifeforce to infuse your weapon with necrotic darkness. Once per turn, when you hit a humanoid or creature with a melee weapon attack, you deal an extra 1d10 necrotic damage. When you reach 16th level, the extra damage increases to 2d10. When you reach 18th level, the extra damage increases to 3d10. The infusion lasts until your rage ends.
