Base Class: Rogue
A ninja of kamigawa master of the arts of deception and subterfugue.
Ninja Arts.
You have learned how to channel your energy into various different ninja arts making you much more dangerous in combat.
You have a Chi Pool that is Equal to your Level they recharge on a long rest.
You learn two ninja arts at level 3 and another one at levels 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20. You may replace one of this features for another when you level up.
Your spells all require somatic components but lose all verbal components.
Ninja Art Arcane Ideation
You gain proficiency with the arcana skill.
You understand arcane item to the point we're you can exploit it to disable things you would normally not be capable of.
You may use an action and three Chi point to hack arcane spells or magic items make an arcana check if you beat a DC set by the DM you may temporarily disable, delay, or fool a spell or magic item.
Examples include change the word to use an item or to activate a glyph or magical trap, change what is gonna do while still whiten confines that the dm deems acceptable
Ninja Art Assassination.
When you hit a surprised creature you may expend 3 Chi point to make the hit an automatic crit with double damage this crit does not activate additional features of crits that are not damage.
Ninja Art Blink
You learn the spell Misty Step and cast it using 2 Chi point and you may increase its range by using aditional Chi point increasing by 30 ft per additional Chi point expend
Ninja Art Disguise.
You gain proficiency with the disguise kit.
You may use a chi point to cast the spell disguise self using a spell save dc using your intelligence as your casting stat
At level 5 you may use a chi point to cast nondetection, meld into stone, gaseous form on yourself.
Ninja Art Dragons Breath
You may expend one chi points to infuse yourself with the power of the Sky Dragons allowing you to shot a breath weapon using an action choosing a damage type when you activate this ability Slashing(Kura), Thunder(Kairi), Fire(Atsushi), Necrotic(Junji), Radiant(Ao), Force(Kyodai). The Breath Weapon has the following properties:
15 Foot cone dealing 3d8 damage with a dex save Against you Chi stat dealing half damage on a success.
This ability gains an additional 1d8 and 5 foot range at levels 5,9,13,17,20.
Ninja Art Evading Death
You learn the spells Blur, Mirror Image, or Invisibility to be able to cast for 2 chi points.
Ninja Art Eyes of Darkness
You gain 60ft of Dark vision.
You may expend two Chi points to cast either the spell See invisibility, or gain 120 ft magical dark vision for 1 minute.
Ninja Art Hide From View
You may add your intelligence modifier to stealth checks you make while obscured.
You may use one Chi point to cast the spells Darkness, Fog Cloud and Silence as a bonus action.
Ninja Art Iron Body
You use your one chi to reinforce and empower your body for 1 minute giving you the following benefits.
- You have advantage on strength and constitution checks and saves
- You gain +2 ac.
- You reduce piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning damage by 3 points.
- You may expend an additional chi point to add your intelligence score to a strength or constitution check or save you make
Ninja Art Killing Arts
At level 5 You gain Access to killing Arts You may cast the spells using Chi point equal to the level you are casting the spell at. Call Lightning, Inflict Wounds, Lightning Bolt, Sleet Storm, Tidal Wave. You may not cast this spells at a level higher than 2/3rds your level rounded down.
Ninja Art Light as Feather.
You may use your acrobatics check + 10 to calculate your jumping distance
You may use a bonus action and a chi point to make either a long jump or high jump without the running start and without using your movement this jump does not provoke opportunity attacks.
You may use a Chi point to cast either the spell Jump or Feather Fall.
Ninja Art Moving as The Wind
You gain 15 ft movement speed.
When a creature ends his movement within 5 ft of you, you may use your reaction and 1 chi point to move up to half your movement speed. This movement does not provoke oportunity attacks.
Ninja Art Poison Technique.
You gain proficiency with a poisoners kit.
You may as a bonus action apply poison to your weapons instead of as an action.
You may use a bonus action and 2 chi points to conjure a basic poison on a weapon that lasts for 1 minute or until you hit a creature with it, the poison has the following properties:
A creature hit with this poison makes a Con save against your DC if it fails the creature takes additional poison damage equal to your sneak attack if it succeeds it takes half damage.
Ninja Art Projectile Mastery
You may use a chi to enhance your ability to throw weapons for the following minute giving the following bonus to them
- When thrown they have +2 to hit
- On a hit they deal additional damage equal to your intelligence modifier when thrown.
- They gain additional range equal to your intelligence modifier times 10ft.
- When you take the attack action to throw a weapon with the throwable property that is not bigger than a short sword you may throw multiple weapons of the same type on the same attack up to your intelligence modifier each must hit a different target.
Ninja Art Replacement Technique
When you would Take damage you may use a reaction and three Chi point to add your intelligence to your saves and Ac for that attack if you make the save or block the attack you additionally take no damage from it and teleport half your movement to another place that you can see as your current position is replaced by a log.
If the attack auto hits you take no damage from it and teleport away
Ninja Art See Weakness
You may study a target using one chi and a bonus action make an insight check against the target deception if you succeed you may use your sneak attack against the target even if you don't have advantage but not if you have disadvantage you also deal an additional 2d6 damage on your sneak attack.
This lasts 1 minute or until the creature changes drastically enough.
Ninja Art Shadow Knowledge.
You may hide while lightly obscured.
While you are on dim light or darkness you may use a bonus action and chi point to teleport to an unoccupied space in 60 ft that is also in darkness or dim light that is not fully enclosed or behind a wall thicker than 3 ft. You then have advantage on the first attack you make before the end of the turn. You may expend additional chi to travel an extra 60 ft per chi spent up to 300 ft.
Ninja Art Shadow Weapon
You may use 2 chi points to manifest a weapon weaved out of shadows that lasts 1 minute or until you short rest. The weapon has the following properties it counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. It deals 2d6 + dex. psychic damage on a hit and has the finesse, light, and thrown properties (range 45/90). In addition, when you use the weapon to attack a target that is in dim light or darkness, you make the attack roll with advantage.
You may expend an extra 2 chi points to make this weapon stronger dealing an additional 1d6 per every 2 additional chi point expend on it up to 6d6 this also increase the duration to 10 minutes when 4 chi points are spent on it 1 hour on 6, 8 hours on 8 and above
Ninja Art Silver Tongue.
You gain Proficiency with a Charisma skill.
You may use 1 Chi when you would make a charisma check you gain advantage on the check and may add your intelliegence modifier to the check.
Ninja Art Soft Movements
You gain a proficiency on stealth and expertise if you already have it.
When you make a (Stealth) check you may use a Chi point to make it with advantage and add your intelligence to the check.
You may spend 2 chi points to cast the spells Spider Climb, Water Walk and Pass without Trace.
Ninja Art Speed up
The surprised condition does not stop your ability to use reactions
When you roll iniative you may expend a Chi point to roll with advantage and increase it by your intelligence score and if you attack a creature this combat that hasnt taken a turn yet you do it with advantage.
Ninja Art Ultimate Killing Techniques
You may choose one of the following spells to learn and you may use Chi points to cast them equal to the level you are trying to cast the spell at Chain Lightning, Delayed Blast Fireball, Disintegrate, Finger of Death, Fire Storm, Freezing Sphere, Harm, Sunbeam, Whirlwind. You may not cast this spells at a level higher than 2/3rd your level rounded down.
Ninja Arts Faster Slower
You may learn the spells Haste and Slow and cast them for 3 Chi points.
Supreme Ninja Arts
At level 9 You have created your own ninja techniques allowing you to do incredible stuff choose a Supreme Ninja Art.
Blazing Burst
You may use an action and 5 chi point to call upon the power of Atsushi, The Blazing Sky to burn you enemies to a crisp.
You may choose a point up to 200 ft away creating a 30 ft sphere of Fiery destruction creatures in the sphere make a Dex save taking fire damage equal to twice the dice of Sneak attack on a failure and half on a success. The target is disintegrated if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points.
A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of fine gray dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or a wish spell.
This ability automatically disintegrates a Large or smaller nonmagical object or a creation of magical force. If the target is a Huge or larger object or creation of force, this ability disintegrates a 10-foot-cube portion of it. A magic item or terrain is unaffected by this ability.
Boundless Wind Strike
You have learned to channel the winds of the Kami. Kura, The Boundless Sky into your movements and strikes.
Use an action and expend 5 Chi points to then target a number of creatures equal to your intelligence that are in a range equal to your movement speed from you then make a melee weapon attack against each creature this attack has the following properties.
- On a hit it deals and additional 5d8 Slashing damage.
- If the creature would be susceptible to Sneak attack damage you may add your sneak attack to the damage even if its not the first time you have used it in a turn
- You then teleport 5 feet next to a creature that was targeted by this feature.
You may expend additional Chi points to deal an additional 1d8 damage per chi expend or change the damage type of all the damage from this attacks to thunder damage.
Dawning Slash
When you hit a creature with an attack you may use 4 chi points to empower it with the light of Ao, The Dawn Sky.
All of the attack damage becomes Radiant and you deal additional damage equal to your sneak attack. additionally the creature becomes prone. loses all reactions and has its movement reduced by 20 ft.
Farewell
You call upon the power of partings to empower an attack when you hit a creature you may use 5 chi points to give it an end, the attack gains the following abilities.
- It deals additional damage equal to your sneak attack.
- If the creature dies because of this attack it cannot be revived except by a Wish Spell
- If the creature is undead it takes the additional Sneak attack damage again.
Additionally you may make your own Farewell, if you do it gains the following additional properties
- If after the damage the creature has less than 100 hit points it dies.
- If a creature dies this way you also die and cannot be revived except by a Wish Spell.
He Who Endures
You have Fully Understood the meaning of perseverance and endurance against all odds You may use 5 chi points and a bonus action to become a paragon of Endurance gaining the following abilities for 1 minute.
- You have resistance to all damage.
- When you use this ability and at the start of your turn gain Temporary hit points equal to twice your level.
- You have Advantage on all saves.
- You add your intelligence to your ac and saves.
- If you would take half damage from a successful save you take non.
Into The Darkness
You may use 5 chi points and a bonus action to call upon the power of Junji, The Midnight Sky to darken the skies.
A 200 ft magical sphere of shadow envelopes the area in Darkness snuffing out all non-magical sources of light for 1 minute.
While in this Darkness you have true sight and may use a bonus action to teleport to another point inside it Additionally all your attacks are made with advantage.
Swirling Terrain
You may use an bonus action and 5 chi points to invoke the power of Kairi, The Swirling Sky. to change the air around you, gaining an aura with the following Properties
- The aura has a 30 ft range and last for 10 minute
- Melee attack against you and Range attacks against allies in the aura are made with disadvantage
- Your allies have +2 to Saves while in the aura
- At the start of your turn heal your allies equal to your intelligence
- You have advantage on all attacks made inside the aura
- You may use a chi point and a bonus action to heal an ally for 2d6 hit points to an ally in the aura.
Windlord
You have familiarity with all things wind you gain access to the following spells that you can cast for a number of chi points equal to the level of casting. Gust of Wind, Warding Wind, Wind Wall, Control Winds.
You also gain the ability to expend 2 chi points to gain a flying(hover) speed equal to your walking speed for 1 minute as you walk on air.
At levels 11 you gain access to investiture of wind.
At level 13 you gain access to whirlwind.
Boundless Spirit
Starting at level 13 when you roll initiative and have no Chi points left you may regain 6 Chi points
Ultimate Ninja
At level 17 You have reached the peak of ninja abilities and your chi recharges much faster when you take a short rest regain a number of chi points equal to your intelligence.
Additionally you may regain a number of Chi points equal to your intelligence by gaining a level of exhaustion this exhaustion may not be removed through spells or potions.
Had this one for a while just never released it i will warn that its not perfect on the dnd beyond character creation but it works well enough to be used by any one interested
