Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Solidarity, compassion and selflessness are the most important ideals for a cleric of the Community Domain, who value the bonds they forge with others above all else. These clerics know that the dangers of the world can only be overcome by working together.

Clerics of the Community Domain usually worship gods of friendship or kindness, though some may be followers of gods of order or civilization. However, among these clerics there are some that serve no god; their divine power instead originates from the strong bonds they share with the people around them.

Domain Spells

You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Community Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Community Domain Spells

1st sanctuary, heroism
3rd enhance ability, aid
5th sending, tiny hut
7th freedom of movement, faithful hound
9th mass cure wounds, hallow

Bonus Proficiencies

Beginning at 1st level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor, herbalism kits and cook's utensils.

Pillar of the Community

Also at 1st level, you’re an important person in your community and a pillar of support and kindness for both friends and strangers. You can take the Help action as a bonus action. When you do so, the target can be up to 30 feet away from you.

Channel Divinity: All Together

At 2nd level, you can summon your deity’s influence to empower the bonds you share with your allies. As an action, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity feature to grant any creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you a number of temporary hit points equal to your cleric level. In addition, any creature that gains temporary hit points in this way can immediately use its reaction to move up to half its speed without provoking attacks of opportunity.

Selfless Healer

At 6th level, in moments of selflessness your divine energy shields you from harm. When you use your action to cast a spell that restores hit points or stabilizes a dying creature, you gain the effects of the Dodge action until the beginning of your next turn.

Potent Spellcasting

At 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Mutual Benefit

At 17th level, you know that nothing works as well as teamwork. When you cast a cleric spell of 1st level or higher that targets a single willing ally, you can choose to have the spell also affect you. Alternatively, if you are targeted by a spell from an ally that only affects you, you can choose to have the spell also affect your ally.
